CaptainQuintero Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I was just having a jolly looking around on CCW when I stumbled across the new Quintero petit Quintero information. These are apparently long filler, no designation of the being short filler as the rest of the Quintero production. Has anyone been able to confirm this? I haven't got around to trying these yet but if so... Well it would be a pleasant thing! A premium Quintero!

maxcjs0101 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 It would be good news if it was indeed long filler. I've been enjoying the occasional short filler Brevas.
mikek Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I got courious and looked it up every one they make says short filler except for that one!? If I read it correctly A 2014 release!? I think I had A quintero years ago,it was in cellophane.I think I was almost drunk at the time in Mexico! Not much help I know!
ATGroom Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 It's an oversight, unfortunately. The default option when you add a cigar to CCW is without the note - I just didn't add it when I put that cigar in.That said, I have no specific information either way, but long filler seems unlikely.Anyone who has one of these care to clarify?
laficion Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 These are apparently long filler, no designation of the being short filler as the rest of the Quintero production. I'm sorry Captain, but these are short fillers and they come in a cardbord box of 25; These are relatively new on the market.
Smallclub Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 It's even better: it's Petit Filler, the latest Cubataba novelty… 1
CaptainQuintero Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 Well slap my cheeks and call me a tease, that's a disappointment! One day hopefully, although the appearance of this 'petit filler' doesn't seem too promising!
PigFish Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 … and I thought that 'petit filler' was that lint that I found between two toes! Maybe it is… -Piggy 1
Lotusguy Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Just smoked one and it was definitely short filler. It was decent. 1
cigcars Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Y'know, somehow I thought I'd seen (briefly) a regional Quintero release some time back. I could be very wrong but it seems I'd seen that for something like the Eastern European market. I'd better consult Trevor's Cuban Cigar Website
Smallclub Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Wow that's "Très petit filler" actually
laficion Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Wow that's "Très petit filler" actually I don't know about you ,but that's not very pretty to me , I think .
CaptainQuintero Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 Thanks for the dissection Rob I guess Quintero was always going to get some more attention after the success of the Favoritos, I guess this is to replace the londres extra? They always seemed very low quality whenever I've had them for years and years now, most of their filler seems to fall out into the box! Maybe they have just started making them shorter now :s
canucks6024 Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 I find that draws can sometimes be iffy as well. But for the price, I'm not going to complain too much.
