I read an article today that said that one of the women on the team actually designed it and in person it's more gold than tan. But frankly, that's the first time I've ever looked at anything cycling related, so the girls may be onto something....

So much for Women's sport being taken seriously!

As a red blooded bloke I can see the appeal.

As a father to a sporting daughter (17) I am appalled.

Has all the class of a "Wet T Shirt " contest or dwarf throwing competition. Mind you I have been to a few of the former in my younger years.

I am just an off the wagon Catholic with issues. My opinion means less than naught. Just doesn't sit right (personally) when I look at the pro's and cons.

Obviously most publications picked the one photo that without doubt causes a double-take.

Still, it's hardly a good message for girls thinking about getting into sport. Or boys.

Than again, it raises awareness of women's sport I suppose. Until today, I had no idea (nor I suspect did anyone else here) that a Columbian women's cycling team was taking part in such a thing as a Women's Tour of Tuscany.

Some people might even watch it now.

These are just immoral, they should swap them for something more modest. Perhaps the beach volleyball team's outfit would suffice.

I think aesthetically it's an appaling design but personally, I can't find this offensive in any way.
