Silly me - I repeated the information already here....

At least this part was new information: Interesting historical band on these. See picture (not mine).

Also, the PL Picadores is supposedly out in Switzerland now. Priced lower locally than the Connie #1 and the ERDM CS. I have hopes smile.png

Interesting historical band on these. See picture (not mine).

i enjoy the addition of the vitola to PL. i even forgot these were coming out but not that i see one standard, it looks like a box buy will be in order soon.

The band looks nice. better than the UK RE band (which are beautiful by the way... but am glad all the PLs don't have them).

I hope this actually replaces the standard PL bands

I love the UK one, but I hope that these do not replace all of them... I think the PL band is one of the classiest bands out there. While this is cool, keep it for the LCDH designation.

This band is similar to that of the Por Larrañaga Dunhill Selección Suprema No.32 (a mareva disc. in 1982).

The original Picadores had a different, much simpler band.

Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo San Juan out in Switzerland and maybe Germany.

Quintero Petit Quintero out in Switzerland AND germany

No other releases know of yet

The Quintero Petit Quintero is also here in Canada. I had one a couple weeks back . Nothing to write home about. Loosely packed and bitter final third. Construction was mediocre as well. For the low $ price it was alright and you won't feel bad about pitching it but I probably won't smoke another one. Just my opinion though.

The Hoyo de Monterrey "Le Hoyo de San Juan": Vitola Geniales (54x150mm). and the Por Larranaga "Picadores": Vitola Hermoso No. 4 (48x127mm) have both now arrived at the Toronto LCDH.

You probably know that I don't keep up with Habanos news… What is new about more fat, expensive 50+ ring cigars…?

But this:

Brand: Partagas

Shop name: Seleccion Privada

Factory name: Magnum 50

Dimensions: 6 ¼” (160mm) x 50 ring gauge

Presentation: Boxes of 10

Destroying the name of one of my favorite cigars is just sacrilege! 50 ring, Seleccion Privada… my ass!
