The one I did smoke, which I smoked as soon as I got the box into my house, was stunningly good, actually. Rich, toasty, roasty, andget this, no jokepeanut butter on the finish for the last third, and on my palate for the next 30-40 minutes. No lie, peanut butter; and not a bad/weird flavor either. Totally unusual in my experience, but man, it was phenomenal. Yeah, Punch2 are great. biggrin.png

I get peanut butter flavors in aged Punch DC's quite often.... Just finished up some 99's that were solid and very enjoyable.

Just had my first Punch Punch from the hyped BAM box code... Good flavors througouht the stick... Youngish finish. Looking forward to them with a little more age.

Rob now I know why you were talking about these so much. Box landed last week and I broke the rule and smoked 2 the next day I got em they were so good, smoking another right now. They remind me very

Rule # 1 - Don't talk about Cigar Club Rule # 2 - Don't put the hot end in your mouth

It is not about the box code guys. I have bra oct 13 beside bam and all the same. The sep oct nov were all out of space no matter of codes

You can order singles directly from our host through *****INT aka INT store,

or by simply emailing Diana.

Prices are very reasonable, and you are sure to receive top quality smokes.

Obviously, they are not available from US based sources,

as the embargo on Cuban goods is still very much in force.

I was trying to get a 5 pack from another site that people sell them on all the time. I finally did geta hit on some. They will be in my mailbox tomorrow. Gonna open that box likea little kid at Christmas and then sit back and enjoy. .....

I guess I better restock on Punch Punch. My recent boxes were underwhelming, although I still have some tubos that are awesome.

My box arrived last week with a BUA MAR 12 box code.

Any idea how these will compare to the BAM 13's?

I'm doing my best to let them rest for a couple more weeks.... also, hoping these are age-worthy and will try to save a number of them for the long-run.

Just picked up a psp box of MUA 2012 Punch Punch at the recent Christmas sale...curious if you ever figured out the answer to your question?

Was happy to land a box with a couple years age, but just hoping they are on par with the highly touted freshies.

Anyone try '14 production? I have a box in OLH with code OPG FEB14 and curious if they are as good as the BAM's from '13.

I just ordered a box - BMS MAR14. Curious if you have tried your box from Feb14 yet?

all I had in 2014 are very good, so I bought a cab (fab. in 2014 as well) and never let me down, I met cigar more than 10 years and this is the first time Punch Punch really enter my life lol

I had a 10 box of Punch Punch tubos from EML FEB14 and they were so good I ordered a box of 25 (LOA SEP14)

which I'm working my way through now, and they were so good that I ordered another 25 (AUM MAR14), and then a 50 cab (EAG JUN14) which I will be aging for as long as I can keep from smoking them.

These are leading the pack as my favorite Habanos. I haven't run into a dud yet. Just fantastic.

I have 2 boxes of BMS MAR 14 from Prez, and they are wonderful cigars.

I have 3 left from the box from the original post and they fell off a bit but are still enjoyable smokes. Not ones I'm afraid of grabbing thinking I'll miss them when they're gone, unlike this 07' punch SS 11' I'm smoking now which is unreal.

Was excited to receive my box of Punch Punch BMS MAR14 yesterday. Took one out to smoke immediately while the others went into the freezer. Smoked it last night and was pleasantly surprised. Colorado wrappers with nice earthy predraw. Little oil on the wrappers, good construction. Started of with some spice.and eventually settled down very nicely. Had some burn issues but those should go away with humi time. Recommended!

I smoked one from the '12 box after about a month of rest and was disappointed... a bit acrid, metallic, and some formaldehyde, if memory serves.... must have still been in shock or a deep sleep. I had no interest in smoking any more at this stage.

HOWEVER - NOW, after 6+ months of rest, the couple I've had have lived up to billing. Great sticks!! Punch "terroir" and complexity. Very much looking forward to smoking the rest.

Bravo Rob and FOH. Nailed the call on these.

I hated my box of 13s and just forgot about them. I finally was like ****, might as well burn one and see if they are worth keeping.

I'm thru half the box in the past few weeks.

I missed the 24:24 today, but it got me thinking.... Given the choice among 2014 cabs from RAG, AEG, or RAE, or 2015/2016 cabs from SOM, where would you put your money?

As @NSXCIGAR mentioned in the BPC thread today, Punch Punch only started to come good in '13/'14 so if I had the choice, I'd get the older cab to save on downtime. Then again, recent '15/'16 Punch Punch has been smoking well relatively young hasn't it?

I think it's a coin toss.  Either way you're a winner.  RAE OCT 14 and SOM SEP 15 are both excellent.  The SOM NOV 15 dress boxes (25-count) are also smoking very well.  I can't speak to RAG or AEG codes from 2014.

Thanks for the input!  Do the RAE and SOM sticks have different flavors, or are they hard to distinguish?

I would go as late as possible, meaning if late 15-early 16 over anything 14. I smoked quite a few 14s, and they were quite good, but the feedback on the 15s and 16s exceeds that. My boxes of 15/16 (one is an A/T 10 TOS NOV 15) are on the way and I've not had any yet, but based on what I'm hearing, 15-16 is the range to stick to, in this case, SOM 15 is where I'd drop my coin.

No notable differences in the flavor profile of SOM vs. RAE.

Thanks! I'm guessing we've been browsing the same code list :-)
