El Presidente Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 The Cohiba Robusto of 2013......your opinion from what you have smoked....Thumbs Up?....or Thumbs Down. 1
Rye Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Regardless of a few that split lengthwise shortly after lighting, they've all tasted very good.
santela Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I voted up, but the ones I smoked have yet to reach their full potential. Just ordered two boxes from our host, I'll see how those turn up.
Maplepie Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Only one this year. LUM box code. Hmmmmmmm Will abstain again. But that one I had was stellar! Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry.
tmc123 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Smoked more 2013s than any other year with coros. Even the 3 packs I have had have been great. Always keep some from each box to age but I don't see the need to age these much longer as they are smoking how I like them now. Where as some other years I wouldn't even consider touching them until 3-5 years down the track.
shlomo Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Excellent, but have only smoked 3 or 4. Not sure the value is there however when compared to other robustos at half the cost. 2
forgop Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Excellent, but have only smoked 3 or 4. Not sure the value is there however when compared to other robustos at half the cost.ThisThe choice of one box of CoRo's or two boxes of the other robustos on the 12:12 for almost the same price. No brainer IMO and the reason I don't have a single box of Cohibas. Not worth it IMO. 2
LLC Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Can't vote from my phone but I'd vote thumbs up. I always keep these and other robusto's around for the variety.
dangolf18 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Good to great, but wrappers are sub-par in my opinion. Rough and fire retardant in most cases. Flavor is solid though. 92-93 for the 10 or so I smoked last year. 1
kuma Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Down many factors to think about the reason I voted down. Price Point, bitter at times, other robustos 2 vs 1 a box, can't wait 2 - 3 years to smoke em. Overated to say the least. Siglo VI much better choice in terms of having a Cohiba.
Chargerfan Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 90% of the 20-3 CoRo's I've had have been "on" and when a CoRo is on, ....all day every day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mgravito Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 I've loved the CoRo I've 4+ years or older. I've also had some from 11 and 12 that were hit or miss. I guess it's not a cigar for the impatient. I prefer the sig IV, especially fresh. Slightly less expensive. Also, compared to other robustos at half the price, I just don't think it's worth it. Give me 2 boxes of RASS or Connie 1s.
mikek Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Smoked 10 from 2013 although A good smoke,There is no doubt they needed more time! I to have been enjoying the Siglo line IV and II.
galtline Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Cohiba is by far the most overrated cigar on the planet. 1
Maplepie Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Cohiba is by far the most overrated cigar on the planet. Absolutely not. Just reading the messages here proves they aren't as overrated as people would think them to be. Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry. 1
potpest Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Absolutely not. Just reading the messages here proves they aren't as overrated as people would think them to be. Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry. Overrated, maybe not, overpriced....now thats a different matter 2
Lant63 Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 I need to try some of these. One of the only Cohiba I have yet to try, I love siglo 4, hopefully they will be similar.
merc Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 So you guys are smoking these relatively young? I am yet to try the CoRo. Picked up 2 singles about 8 months ago, but have them sitting in the humidor as every Cohiba I've tried so far has needed some age. 1
godpheonix Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 not sure how anyone can say cohiba is overrated. i mean at their best, they are pretty much at the top, unless you just don't like the taste profile. impossible to be all at top level and that pretty much goes for any CC brand. as for the CORO 2013, smoked only one but it was very good hinting at greatness in a few years for sure!

I think overpriced is the word people are looking for. While it is a great cigar, but you can have something similarly as good for half the price.

galtline Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Esplendido and robusto Aged or not I am not impressed at all.
