I have a NewAir 280E in the office. I built 2 drawers and 2 shelves, and use 1 lb of 65% Heartfelt beds along with a Hydra SM humidifier. I keep a small desktop humidor, which is filled with singles ready to smoke. Here in AZ, the house is 78 deg and outdoors it can be 100 plus for 3 months straight. I think keeping a few sticks at ambient temp allows a little less shock and much better draws when I smoke. Cheers.
It was a more peasant version of the above for me last night. A private selection FR Single Barrel. 11 yr, 2 months. And always spot on.

CoRo from my Nov 13 box. I cannot believe how much I've enjoyed these with no real age whatsoever.
I've read quite a few posts where folks have said they're 2013 sticks are outperforming ones from their 2011/2012 boxes. I believe it.

I've actually had pretty good luck on everything with a 2013 box code. Prior, I unfortunately have bought unsmokable:
Cohiba Lanceros
Monte 2
Part D4
Monte Especiale no.2
One of my biggest issues other than plugged sticks has been underfilling, especially with the Monte's.

Never thought of this!
Did you drill the cartridge above the beads but below the fan/component part?
I once learned that plugging the rear hole to prevent moisture loss was NOT the correct way to go about it. Learned the hard way actually. Here in Phoenix, my thermostat is set at 77/78 in the summer. Any lower and my utilities would bankrupt me. Even at a goal of 13 or 14 deg differential from the ambient room temperature, I notice that I have difficulty in stabilizing rH for long. I have to refill my Sm Hydra every 2 weeks. Along with the 1.5 lbs of beads.

I'm not a big fan of the bigger Trinidad sticks, but The Coloniales and Reyes are among my favorites. To me, they are among the most complex, creamy, flavorful options when looking for a 30-45 minutes smoke.

Yeah, first they come down here and buy up all our property in AZ, now to hear that's where the good stuff goes. Damn!

I broke down and bought a bottle of Lot 40. Smooth, almost to the point of no burn. If you crack one open, My suggestion would be a milder cigar, as not to overpower it.

Ive teated every driver out there, other than some of the new 2014 stuff, and the G25 was by far the highest launching, longest of them all. Now that some of the new stuff is rolling in, you can find some good deals.

Zacapa 23 is the way to go. $40 at total wine. Ive only had it neat, but would definitely like to hear any cocktail suggestions with it.

Ive seen Bulleit in 1.75, Makers, 46, and recently they had a Knob Creek 3 pack, Bourbon, 9 yr, and Rye.
Ive seen more high end Single malt than bourbon.
