I have a NewAir 280E in the office. I built 2 drawers and 2 shelves, and use 1 lb of 65% Heartfelt beds along with a Hydra SM humidifier. I keep a small desktop humidor, which is filled with singles ready to smoke. Here in AZ, the house is 78 deg and outdoors it can be 100 plus for 3 months straight. I think keeping a few sticks at ambient temp allows a little less shock and much better draws when I smoke. Cheers.

I've actually had pretty good luck on everything with a 2013 box code. Prior, I unfortunately have bought unsmokable: Cohiba Lanceros Monte 2 Part D4 Monte Especiale no.2 One of my biggest issues other than plugged sticks has been underfilling, especially with the Monte's. Never thought of this! Did you drill the cartridge above the beads but below the fan/component part? I once learned that plugging the rear hole to prevent moisture loss was NOT the correct way to go about it. Learned the hard way actually. Here in Phoenix, my thermostat is set at 77/78 in the summer. Any lower and my utilities would bankrupt me. Even at a goal of 13 or 14 deg differential from the ambient room temperature, I notice that I have difficulty in stabilizing rH for long. I have to refill my Sm Hydra every 2 weeks.
