Rob's PSP grade is what encouraged me to explore regular production boxes to set aside and age...

There are some nice ones in the Humi I gently caress every now and again while the missus is out smile.png

...joy, still got lots of room "for my recovery" lol

Just got a new job... Roughly a 45% raise from my old gig... Me and my girlfriend had a celebration dinner here in DC... As the dinner progressed my girlfriend noticed me picking up my phone numerous

Of which I've never done... the crack part that is. Just a stereotypical reference. But you get the gist... I will go broke. I will be divorced. But I'll have a sh*tload of cigars to smoke!

-Exhilerating. -You meet tonnes of interesting people -Have to find a perfect dealer -The government keeps trying to take it away from you -You go to other people's place to sample 'their stuff'

For you new guys all I can say is you will enjoy the ride :)

I have gone from having a desktop and a locker at a cigar shop to

cooler-a-dors,

to a converted closet in my house (older home with a water heater closet, electric & water supply) to

a 19 cubic foot upright freezer that I spanish cedar lined that to

2 desktops and 2 wine coolers

I am presently just under 1000 sticks and very uphappy at that level. Not that it isn't enough sticks for me but I have introduced too many friends and co-workers to habanos :)

I smoke 7-10 sticks a week which puts me at almost 2 boxes a month. So to stay ahead on splits and sharing I order 4 boxes a month. That makes for lots of christmas morning moments unpacking the goodies :)

Oh and it is a family affair also, my older son never picked up on habanos but my younger son (16) loves'em

Nah it's not a custom, the missus wouldn't let me get the Aristocrat custom I was after, so knowing what's good for me I pussied out and got a...

LOL. I love some of these....

Some of you newer guys make me laugh too, lol, acting like 12:12 is the dangerous game.

Back in OUR day (...cough, cough...) there were at least 2 or 3 LFTH / LFTW a WEEK on average!!!

You know it's bad when Lisa or Diana e-mails you to ask which of the 3 credit cards on file need to get charged, and which address it needs to go to (so that your wife doesn't see more than two or three boxes a month coming in the mail), etc.

LOL.

You know you have a problem when:

Your CC collection is worth more than your kids college funds combined......haha

Or....your CC collection IS your kids' college funds. :D

Yep. Now you can spend your entire salary on cigars and the misses will never know...until the bank forcloses and your living in a tent in the park.

But, you will have all the cigars you can smoke!!!

Based on the cigars I currently own vs. the number I smoke per year and an average life expectancy, I have decided to slow my purchases down to 2 boxes a year. It seems to be working and I can justify purchasing really high quality smokes when I do make a purchase. This is my best attempt at controlling the addiction. It might just save my marriage.

It's comforting knowing we aren't alone.

Rob's OLH makes it even worse. I told myself I'll keep my locker in single digits. Then a dozen....then a bakers dozen. Ok seriously, 15 boxes and no more!

]Just curious, is the OLH something that's password protected and made available after months on the forum? Looks like a familiar trading/selling website of the same acronym. Thanks in advance!

I just got started in June this year. I just realized for the last 4 1/2 months there has not been a day without at least 1 box on the way!

Usually 2 or 3!

Does this get any better? Tell me you guys going past 10 yrs don't always have something in the works.

OLH is the Locker system. Click the link under the Monkey on top left if you dare. All will be revealed.

I was like that for a couple of years.

Now I have a comfortable stash to last me a decade or more and am buying only to try new stuff or replace what I smoke.

The pricing and sizes of new releases makes it VERY easy for me to not buy more.

You just need to register in the proper section and ask Di to put your boxes there when buying and you're good to go!

Just an amazing collection. How do you even get any airflow or humidification in there? With so many stogies is humidification even needed?

If it is anything like my setup, there is significant space between the boxes and the back of the humidor and some circulation fans :)
