stogieluver Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 I know I have it bad when I'm envious of another man's empty space!! I'm packed! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1406331665.667978.jpg Rye, I can solve your problem.
maduro Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Gentlemen, I believe that most cigar smokers suffer from a psychological condition. Sadly there is no cure. My wife refers to it as T.A.D. Tobacco Aquistion Diorder. The hardest part is knowing when to stop buying. Oh well you may as well make the best of it. 1
Lotusguy Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 The hardest part is knowing when to stop buying. Let me know when you reach that point - 6 years and 4.5k cigars later, I still haven't found it 1
Habana Mike Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 You buy CC's and you buy and you buy, and then you have to buy one of these... cave2.jpg cave6.jpg Obviously, I have more CC buying to do. Damnit all. Oh well, a man has to do what a man has to do. At least you've still got some room.... Dumped all my coolers into an M Plus D last fall and the coolers are all full again!
Newkarian Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 I started with a few nasty NC last november. Now last count 25 boxes of cc and climbing. It is like crack have to smuggle past my wife lol. 1
Maplepie Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 It is like crack have to smuggle past my wife lol. ah! yes... -making up excuses on where the money went -explaining how too much is not enough...
stogieluver Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Sounds like we better start a legal fund for Prez cause I can foresee him being called to testify in a bunch of divorces. Mrs. Stogieluver's ******* lawyer: "Ah,Mr. Ayala, did, in fact, Mr. Stogieluver, during the last 24 months, purchase $5000 worth of Cuban Cigars from your business, and with aforethought intentionally proceed to hide those purchases from Mrs. Stogieluver?" Mr. Ayala: "Your Honor, would ask that ******* to repeat the question?" 3
UpInSmoak Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 It's comforting knowing we aren't alone. Rob's OLH makes it even worse. I told myself I'll keep my locker in single digits. Then a dozen....then a bakers dozen. Ok seriously, 15 boxes and no more!
Habana Mike Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 It's comforting knowing we aren't alone. Rob's OLH makes it even worse. I told myself I'll keep my locker in single digits. Then a dozen....then a bakers dozen. Ok seriously, 15 boxes and no more! Keep it in the double digits, you're fine. More than that, well CCBS+++
Popular Post UpInSmoak Posted July 26, 2014 Popular Post Posted July 26, 2014 You know you have a problem when: Your CC collection is worth more than your kids college funds combined......haha 7
HarveyBoulevard Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Keep it in the double digits, you're fine. More than that, well CCBS+++ Crap. I'm ill then. Is it terminal?
stogieluver Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Crap. I'm ill then. Is it terminal? Only if your wife finds out. 1
airtrade Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Ahhaaa! Now I see the benefit of OLH. I kept thinking I want my boxes in house. No need to run for the mailbox and try to sneak that white envelope in the house!
HarveyBoulevard Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Yep. Now you can spend your entire salary on cigars and the misses will never know...until the bank forcloses and your living in a tent in the park. But, you will have all the cigars you can smoke!!!
HarveyBoulevard Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Now we just need an online fridgador for the scotch and we are covered. 1
cigaraholic Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 For me, crack was easy to give up. Buying cigars, I need to get to a meeting....... 2
Habana Mike Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 For me, crack was easy to give up. Buying cigars, I need to get to a meeting....... Local meeting of CA: Hi, I'm Bob and I'm a cigaraholic....it's been 3 hours since I've smoked a Bolivar. Hi Bob! 2
LeafLover Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 it's bad when you are asking friends and family to store boxes in the wineadors at their houses
ogus Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 13 posts and no Rob Ford jokes... Perhaps the world has finally forgotten. Now us Torontonians can hold our heads up high again... Mayor of Toronto recently stated: "I may have bought cigars during one of my drunken stupors" 1
ogus Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 How about a brochure for *****INT RESCUE MISSION Find freedom from buying expensive Non-Cuban Cigars through our 12:12 Cuban Cheap and Cheerful Rehabilitation Program Meetings are Live From The Warehouse 3
groundhog Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 I have to agree - I haven't been at it long at all and it is utterly addictive for so many reasons. I have also come to the conclusion that the correct number of cigars to own is N+1 where N is the number of cigars (or boxes of) you already own..... 3
EuroTrash Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 No kidding. Up until two months ago I was lucky to have 20-30 sticks on hand. Early this month I bought a 12 bottle wineador and it was filled within days. Got rid of that and have now order 28 bottle NewAir. I'm sure I will fill that in a few months also. 1
ajgagnon Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 I doubt it ends with the full vitolario either. Multiples, different years, aged/special releases... how's a guy to resist?
puromaniac Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Hmmmmm. Does one qualify by constantly telling non-smoking friends, neighbours, business colleagues and casual acquaintances how much they would enjoy Cuba (and by the way would you mind....)?
