Name 1-3 cigars you would reach for when celebrating something special party.gif

LGC MdO #2

Parti Salamones

Sir Winston

My current selection is a bit limited but I tend to keep back my LFDC Grandiosos Asia Pacific Regionals for celebratory purposes.

Once they arrive it will be either the LFDC or Behike 54s

If I could reach for anything at all regardless of it being in my current collection. It would probably be the Partagas Lusitania Grand Reserva! Oh how I dream of getting my hands on a box of those!! lol3.gif

From current stock something from the '70s/'80s, a Festival cigar, VR Jubilaum, maybe a GR or aged custom roll. Those are the ones I set aside for celerbatory cigars though I will smoke one regardless of occasion from time to time.

More typical/attainable would be a Sir Winston, Monte A, Cohiba Esplendido or Pirámides Extra.

What's the occasion?

With my current stash it would be BHK52, My last Boli Gold Medal lol or a Punch Black Prince. If it were something i didnt have that ive been dreaming to try it would be for sure a Parti GR, 1966 Cohiba, or an well aged Cohiba Robusto. But since im still a newb i know these choices will change in the future lol

Cohiba 1966 (Have one ready and waiting for my birthday)

Cohiba BHK 52, 54, 56

Montecristo 520

My last Boli Gold Medal

lonsdales are (a) easy to find, (B) significantly better, © strike b - they're the best, (d) sometimes cheaper, (e) and more modest

don't worry about smoking that last one ^_^

Top 3 cigars that you really like smoking, but are running out of and have been rationing.

well worded.

this is a really good way to summerise all our subjective feelings towards those kind of cigars.

From my stash right now:

Sir Winston

Last Boli GM

Only Connie A.

But maybe one of the great Monte #2 I've got..... Haha

Any cigar is a good cigar. I'd smoek whatever i had in stock that has proven to me in recent smokes that it was good. Just because a cigar is old or has 2 bands on it doesn't make it good. A celebration to me is something to enjoy. And i would smoke something that i know i will enjoy, not something that i paid a lot of money for that I SHOULD enjoy.

I have the following in my humi:-

A box of March 2003 Hoyo de Dieux which I reserve for my birthday smoke

A single 2008 Monte Sublime that I'm keeping to smoke when my daughter graduates from University in 3 years time

2 Cohiba 1966 for when my 2 sons graduate from University in 6 and 12 years.

Well said Sir. Couldn't agree more.

Currently I reach for a Monte 2 because I have some I've been saving. If I had the money it would be a Cohiba. Most likely a BHK if it was my wedding or a child's birth.

Typically I would grab whatever is smoking well in my collection at the time. Right now that would be Monte Especial, CPE and '10 PSP2.
