galtline Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 these cigars are excellent. I took a gamble on these cigars and they might be my favorite. big time cedar and leather. love them....
Habana Mike Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I also enjoy a good SP, Molinos and Non Plus in particular. Have had some good Bachilleres, Belicosos and Sanchos in the past as well. Which vitolas did you smoke?
TheLiquidGator Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Nice mild morning smoke. Which vitola did taste?
fabes Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I've been curious about SP, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
CUBANO Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Bachilleres are great little smokes. If you find them, buy them. 1
DoubleDD Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 When Rob posts SP belicosos when he's in the warehouse give them a try. I've jumped on two boxes and haven't been disappointed.
KoreanCowboy Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I bought a box of the 2012 Belicoso from the last LFTW and I am definitely not disappointed. They are just gorgeous cigars.
UpInSmoak Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I picked up a single Non Plus. Probably the worst CC I've smoked this year. Rated it high 70s, pitched it half way thru. Construction was good however

Construction was good however Was it recent? I've not had any since pre '99.... More recent Molinos ('07) have been good to me.
Maplepie Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Rated it high 70s, pitched it half way thru. Construction was good however that's a fantastic year for cigars, then. just had a Quai d'Orsay Superior that rated a 32 on my scale. Worse one this year was an RyJ Duke that i gave a 42 or 45. SP Belicosos normally rate 72-75 for me. Decent cigars i'd smoke once every few months.
ogus Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 My Molinos are a nice treat, probably never see more though
Dbone Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 My Molinos are a nice treat, probably never see more though I agree, the Molinos are great. I find the profile a nice break from the sometimes homogeneous Habanos flavors. 1

sheppsea Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I've enjoyed of the SPs I've tried but for some reason always overlook them when I make an order - something that I will need to rectify!
Knilas Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Have only had the Molinios, and both of them were flatter than Kansas. Did not enjoy them at all! I still have (3) left from a box split I did awhile back. Will re-visit those down the road. I've heard good things about the Non-plus. May give them a try..just havent pulled the trigger yet.
Pilgrims Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Massive fan, it's the brand that got me into all this!! Think that the Belly is the best mellow pyramid out there
khomeinist Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I reach for these before many of the so-called 'premium' marcas. Excellent mid-afternoon smokes (if you can find the time obviously).
Maplepie Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Think that the Belly is the best mellow pyramid out there most mellow cigar. bar the H. Upmann Epicures.
Huggogguh Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I read or heard somewhere that Sancho Panza was being axed, is that true? It might have been in a FOH video actually.

Huggogguh Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 welcome to the forum Huggo!! absolutely no confirmations at all. Just rumours at this point. Thanks Maple, been a member for a little bit, just haven't started posting til recently. Ah, well I haven't had a chance to try one yet so I'll jump on the next opportunity.
1LegLance Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Sancho Non-Plus are something I always keep around. Molinos used to be better but I keep buying them just to keep some SP love showing Beli's are also another staple as they are a nice mixer when paired with other habano belicosos just to show people the range of flavors.
fingerburner Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Love the Molinos and Belicosos. Underrated by many.
