Petition: an extra cm on the Upmann half corona

Recommended Posts

One of the best short cigars is just too short! After having smoked several half coronas from Upmann there is just one thought that keeps popping up: there should be an extra CM to this cigar. Can't we use FOH lobby power and create this cigar?

Regards

Just look for H. Upmanns with ring gauges of 44 (give or take 4) and 'longer'.

These exist in:

H. Upmann Connoisseur No. 1

H. Upmann Coronas Major

H. Upmann Minor Tubos

H. Upmann Magnum 46 <---- My personal recommendation happy.png

H. Upmann Majestic <---------Recommendation for the closed wallet. Longer AND cheaper.

H. Upmann Petit Corona

H. Upmann Sir Winston

Wouldnt the extra length change the blend?

Yeah I have thought about this too, but could cutting the selected leaves a cm further away have sunch an impact on the taste?

Shlomo, how long does it take you to smoke an SCdlH El Principie?

That is the closest thing I have to that size for my own reference. I have been very reluctant to look into a 3.5" cigar.

The EP is my favorite small cigar. Period. I savour them to the last milimeter. Usually about an hour, maybe slightly longer. Will have one right now and let you know!
