Plm may 11 Workin on it as I speak. Smooth, sweet, woodsy, caffee, nutty, looovely. *add a little spice and flower to the mix **burn was even and damn slow. Took 1:55 minutes. Outstanding 92/93

Just got a box of the PLM May '11.........serious aromas and nice looking wrappers........

Good to hear, I've got a box of these in the locker. Working through a box of USE MAR08 that are also a great example.

based on this thread alone....I went and ordered a PLO MAY 11 box.....if its no good someone in this thread is getting kicked in the shins smile.png

And if they are downright enjoyable....??????sneaky.gif

Found one with a bit of damage to the band and wrapper,so I lit up.

This is one serious good stick.

Very full and reminds me of sticks from the late '90s.Big aromas and flavors, lingering aftertaste.

Would enjoy a Sir Winston like this............

Wondering if some of the tobacco from the Asian Regional sticks could have found its way into these?

Anyone have this code and date on any Asian sticks?

confused.gif What's the relation? These Connoisseurs are made with a typical Upmann liga, they certainly don't taste like a PL, Punch or RA Asian regional…

…and I don't think the tobacco of the Asian Regionals has anything special that would transcend marcas and ligas…

The strength, aroma, taste and lingering aftertaste remind me somewhat of the Asian Regionals I have smoked.

Other than that, there is no relation at all.........
