List no more than 5 if possible

Simply, the cigars that you have found little to no blend/flavour change since 2000. To clarify, the most "blend" consistent cigars over that period.

As an example. To me when I smoke a fresh Partagas Short Cab cigar today, I can't tell any real difference to smoking fresh Partagas Short Cabs over the past 14 years.

BPC, PLPC and Shorts have held pretty consistently for me and I always have some in stock and smoke them regularly so experienced just about every year. Must be something about that PC/TPC size.

There are a few discontinued that always satisfied but not available past few years so can't speak to those....

BAAHAHAHA!

If tobacco is still legal in another 15yrs you'll have this one nailed Jer!!!

Ok, Monte Esp no.1&2's seem to have changed before this, but not much change since IMO.

I have an '86, '96, and '06, plus a '12 Espi 1 to do a linear tasting at some point this summer hopefully, so I may have to revisit this thread and my comment later.

Not much favor within the Siglo line I see. Thought with the ultra premium tobacco and third fermentation, it would result in a consistent flavor profile that one would come to expect.

The evidence that the Siglo line (at least the smaller sizes) aren't made with "ultra premium" leaves is their inconsistency...

Good to know. If the smaller siglo line does not, then the classic must. And there are classic cohiba on the list

Can I add this caveat...

Which cigars mimic the "old style?" I hear this a lot but have know idea what it means as I have only been smoking CCs for 5-6 years, and have never had anything prior to '99.
