dangolf18 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Mmm..how about this...take a corn dog, wrap it in bacon, dip that in cheese, let the cheese harden, then coat that in batter and deep fry again...AND repeat.

You use the large 1.5" dates ( pitted) Wrap it with half a strip of bacon and secure with a tooth-pick, then broil them and turn them as they get burned. I thought she had gone mad, until I humored them and ate half the tray. They are great and quite flavorful. Viva Bacon!

There is something about the texture of that crunch inside that sets it off!
