year after year after year. Every time I open my humidor I see these four boxes of Monte 4's, HQ's and PSP's from Rob outstanding. They were moved to the bottom but when I slide the middle drawer out I still see them. Guess that's what I'm smoking for the next while, just want to get them out and new stuff in. Same with a few others that I bought in on the two box rule well that was 5 years ago and I'm not even half way through box 1.

Is this the ugly side of cigar hoarding?

Looking at beautiful HQ and PSP cigars is the joy of hoarding. The ugly side is the credit card bill.

Agreed... Have my fair share of boxes that I see almost every day myself.. Age baby, just keep aging away...

If you don't need them, sell them..the hardest part is letting go.

You can pay me in cigars to look at the boxes you don't want to anymore! Haha. In all seriousness though you should just enjoy the heck out of them!

Heh, I was not really complaining. The answer is to obtain more storage space. I see all these lovely boxes of whatever is hot now (there's always something that's hot) and I really can't pull the trigger because I have what was hot 3,4,5 years ago, which is not hot anymore?!? I need to see a doctor... or just accept Colts take.

Agree with BClass. If you can get more storage then definitely keep them. This is how 30 year old boxes get made! ok.gif

I thought your title was referring to a thread about breaking up with one's girlfriend/wife!

Nearly had diet coke fly out my nose when I read this

Since coolidors are cheap and spacious I'd rather get another cooler if I were you. I'm actually looking to get a second storage because I need more room and it'll be easier to separate some boxes that I want to rest vs smoke.

Drew, do like me. Buy yourself another fridge or aristocrat, give your brother your old one under three conditions: that he accepts all boxes from you to store, maintain the Rh and temp.

Didn't you say you love the cigars? Who cares what's "hot"? You may not like the newest "hot" cigar anyways...

I hear you. My Aristocrat is full, but mostly of boxes for aging so to make space I feel it's time to dip into some of them. I'm going the coolidor way to make more room and store the regular, everyday smokes.

That's the sense I need drilled back into my head.

Finally, others. Glad I'm not the only one with this disorder.

I keep trying "hot" cigars.

And keep going back to my regular rotation.
