Briand Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 What do you guys think would be a good cigar for someone who is looking for a mild to med in flavour cigar. It is for a lady if that matters
potpest Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Choix Supreme, juan lopez petit corona, slr serie a, rafael gonzalez petit corona, sancho panza belicosos
Dmatzkin Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Fonseca, RG Perlas. Some people will probably want to expulse me from this forum for even mentioning it but for a first try Guantanamera may work. My wife likes them a lot...Just saying... Daniel
CUBANO Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 ERDM, La Flor de Cano, Fonseca, Quintero Brevas. 1
DWC Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 I recently got some ERdM demi tasse for my girl. I'm trying to break her away from flavored cigarellos. She smoked her first one last night and loved it! Size matters. She has no interest in anything over 34 or so rg. ( yeah, I know I'm leaving myself wide open with that one. haha)
finecigar Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 My buddies wife used to hate his cigar smoking now she will join in with him from time to time. She loves QdO Corona ... They are smooth, light, and flavorful. Not too much of a commitment either. She also will smoke PL Montecarlos
Marker Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 PL MC would be a good idea imo. I have never had one but many said they are excellent, not too strong, and not too big either. Unless you are smoking with her and doing some kind of Freudian daydream thing. Then you can just keep that to yourself.
Smallclub Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 If the lady is ok with the robusto size, Regios and Choix Suprême are good choices. If not, I'd say most of the panatelas available (Montecarlos, Hoyo du Gourmet, etc. or smaller) and Quai d'Orsay corona…
laficion Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 If I were her,Yeah, some P.L. MONTECARLO would do just fine , Indeed !!!!!!
johnhenry Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 A coro with about three years on it, I think a fresh cigar might have to much bite. To me a 3 year old coro is at its sweet spot, the harshness is gone a little honey and grass.
mk05 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 LGC #3, Punch Ninfa, RG Slenderella, or ERDM PL...wait a minute. That's what I smoke!
Smalls Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I would throw in HdM Le Hoyo du Gourmet. Every one of them that I have had has been excellent and silky smooth.
canadianbeaver Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 My wife enjoys Montecristo Open Junior. Claus you are a nasty husband. Lady or not, do not cheap out and give her a cigar you would not smoke yourself! I vote a QdO corona, a Monte 5, a Cohiba 2, or a PLPC.
Lotusguy Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Claus you are a nasty husband. Lady or not, do not cheap out and give her a cigar you would not smoke yourself! I vote a QdO corona, a Monte 5, a Cohiba 2, or a PLPC. Believe me, I've tried - this is what she enjoys. To be perfectly honest, I don't find them so bad myself.
fingerburner Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 If the lady is ok with the robusto size, Regios and Choix Suprême are good choices. If not, I'd say most of the panatelas available (Montecarlos, Hoyo du Gourmet, etc. or smaller) and Quai d'Orsay corona… Agreed.
