Puros Y Vino Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 2013 has been interesting in terms of "acquisitions". I thought I'd share a few items here. I picked up these cool slotted "gift box humidors" to store some of my "rarer" cigars. Here they are closed. I added the ribbon to help keep the cigars in place and avoid any accidental openings. Box 1: 3 * 1994 Corona Gordas 1 * Romeo Y Julietta Fabulosos No 1 (1960) / * see below. 1 * Davidoff No 2 Tubo (1982) Box 2: 5 * Romeo Y Julietta Fabulosos No 1 (1960) Box 3: 4 * H Upmann Sir Winstons (1970's) 1 * Davidoff Dom Perignon(1985)
Pilsner14 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 If I may........... when does one come to the conclusion that one of your rarities needs to be smoked? Will it be an occasion, date, milestone? I would want to hold those and never smoke them......yet why have them. Awesome pics. JD
perfectform Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Bling bling! Now smoke up! Sent from Skynet using Tapatalk
ChanceSchmerr Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 That's a great way to keep Bling cigars! Not to mention, those are some fine treasures! Enjoy 'em, Frank - hard to top those as pinnacles of cigar collecting. The Ribbons are a nice touch - I can see why you'd want the boxes not to open accidentally LOL!
Rye Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 So many levels of awesome achieved here! Beauty Frank! Thanks for sharing!
Natedog Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I hate to be the one to break this to you but I'm 99% sure those are fakes. Please pm me and I will give you my address where you can ship them. I'm certain after I smoke them I will be 100% sure.
nikesupremedunk Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Just beautiful…those 1960's RyJ's look like they're from a fresh box. I do wonder the same as above though, are you ever going to smoke these at one point or are they just going to be trophies?
