I'm looking at my wine fridges and I'm still not satisfied!!!

I ask myself, what cigars and how many boxes of each would I be satisfied with?!! Dont bother with the "I'll never be satisfied" replies. Here are the parameters.

- Only what you can afford.

- Only what you can feasibly get your hands on with your vendors and trades

- Only what your current storage can hold

- How many boxes of each

Not trying to be a smart ass but with those parameters my collection would be exactly what I have.

It's what I can afford, was able to get my hands on and could fit in my humidors. I have as many boxes as I can comfortably afford.

My current cigar collection is definitely more than I can afford and bordering on too much for my humidors to hold, so I would have to agree. It is as good as it realistically could get.

Are you planning to do one big shop to last you a while or will you restock as boxes empty?

I have a 72 count wine fridge that holds around 45 boxes

If i were to fill it from scratch but planning to reorder, I would be buying

2 boxes Monte 520's

2 boxes Monte Grand Edmundo

2 boxes Monte Especial #1

2 boxes Monte 4 (hand picked by Prez)

2 boxes Monte 2 (hand picked by Prez)

2 boxes Cohiba Siglo 6

2 boxes Cohiba Lanceros

2 boxes Party SD4

2 boxes Party SP2

1 box Party 898

1 cab Party Shorts

2 boxes Mag 46

2 boxes Mag 50

2 boxes HDM Epi 2's

1 cab of PLPC's

2 boxes of RASCC

2 boxes of RASS

5 boxes of RA Superors

2 boxes of RyJ Short Churchill

1 box of RyJ Ex #4

4 boxes of La Flor De Cano RE

2 boxes of HDM Epi Delux

If i had a spare $10k-$15k and I wanted to fill a fridge in one hit, thats what i would go for

Most of those boxes are reg production and the limted run boxes can still be had fairly cheaply and easily if one knows where to look

I have at least one of every box on that list and will be getting another of each (or restocking) as time permits

If i could only do one big shop and that had to last me for a long while the list would be

10 Boxes Monte 2's

10 boxes Cohiba Siglo 6

5 cab RASS

5 cab PLPC

5 boxes PSD4

5 boxes RA Superors

5 boxes RASCC

I already buy more than I should, and don't have as many as I should.

My mind just starts racing when trying to think of a better answer for this, so I am clearly not there yet.

On top of my current stock, I would add:

3 boxes of H Umann RR

2 cabs Hoyo Epi 2

1 cab Epi 1

1 more box of 898's

50 cab RASS

I think I would he pretty content after that.

What I have now I guess? Money isn't the problem is setting up the Humidors I can probably Fit 3 more WInedors for a total of 6. I will supply the West Coast LOL

Probably like Churchill. Heard that he stored 4000 cigars at any one time at Chartwell.

I know several people who store way more than 4000 cigars… and they are smokers, not collectors…

The only things I'm missing is a box of LGC. No 1 LGC Tainos and ERDM Tainos. Maybe a box of Cohiba Piramides 2001/2006... Cohiba Sublimes. Mostly stuff I can't find but I'm sure they are out there... if only I could find them...

Not really into the numbers aspect. For me it's more of an approach. I buy what I can, when I can, while I can. Tobacco restrictions aren't loosening, they're getting tighter. I foresee the day when the logistics of the postal services in my country along with the border services integrate and are able to "capture" taxable goods at a higher rate. Until then, I'm going to stockpile cigars. I have slightly changed my buying patterns in that I'm looking for regular production cigars that I enjoy and want to age over time. A good LE or RE will always be in scope too, but regular prod and custom rolls are my primary focus.

So the ten boxes of the Italian ER and the pile of infantes is just a side kick! :-)

My ultimate realistic cigar collection will be complete when I have so many boxes that when I come across boxes I say to myself "Wow, I forgot about those"....I am ultra conscious of what I have at all times with a pretty decent sized collection. I can't imagine the size of the collection it would take for those parameters to exist. Reg production/EL/RE...

If I could have back what I had a couple of years ago...

…if I could have back what Tabacuba destroyed a couple of years ago!!! I would still be interesting in buying cigars from Cuba.

I LOL'd, exactly what I was thinking. I love my collection for the most part, everything I have is a favorite of mine with some change of pace smokes and no fillers. It's highly focused so I'm never dissatisfied with what I smoke except for that hsa qc thing from time to time.

If they are from a date before 2009 you can have them all, and good luck finding some flavours…

- Only what you can afford.

That doesn't include what I've already bought......
