Planning to do a comparison review this winter...unfortunately don't have RyJ churchill but got to smoke one thanks to the Blind tasting competition! (And got it right too ) 3 of these sticks will be

7x47

Based on this thread, it looks like a box of Sir Winston's order needs to be placed. Been looking to purchase a fine Churchill.

I have only had one Habano Churchill, an RyJ. Two hours of pure bliss. I hear I am quite lucky to experience such a great smoke prior to the noted improvement in quality. Otherwise my experience with churchills/DC's is strictly with NC's. My personal favorite, one I have 1.5 boxes of left is the Arturo Fuente Anejo #49. Such a good cigar. So good in fact that I smoked one of my #77 Sharks afterward and was a bit disappointed.

I smoked a RyJ Churchill a month ago and very much enjoyed it. Recently I lit up a Montecristo Churchill Anejados and similarly enjoyed that, as I felt it was a little bit better in comparison. Do I change my vote? (Probably not as I should smoke a few more down the track and compare notes.)

I aim to smoke a few more of these marcas and sample the H.Upmann Sir Winston and Partagas Lusitania in 2015.

I like them all. Put a few years on a Esplendito and you got cigar heaven. Too bad they cost crazy. When time permits, a BCG goes the distance for me.

A fan of RyJ Churchills. I have smoked four on the list and have a sir Winnie in the queue but as of now the RyJ gets my vote. Great flavor and the constructure of all I have tried have been flawless!

Sir Winstons get my vote. Seeing as how hard these are to find, is it safe to bus these blind.

I voted for Sir Winstons but my recent BCG coded ESO have dominated them in every form.

interesting, now I'm curious on the BCGs as the Winnies can be tough to beat at times :)

DoubleDD, you are making me want to bust into my box of ESO OCT 14 earlier than I had anticipated

There are so many. Why do I have to choose? In reality I love Partagas Lusitanias or Upmann Sir Winston, but lately it's been a batch of Ramon Allones Gigantes from 03 that have been giving me satisfaction. They are beyond good and the best thing after a completely crappy day.

If they are anything like mine, you will be happy you did. Just try one and see, you might just be pleasantly surprised. Leather, chocolate, and velvet smoke.

I must concur. The last two boxes of BCG I've had were very consistent and very good. Not the absolute best, but then they just missed by a point or two, but damn fine and not a dud stick in the box. I still haven't been able to let a box of BCG sit long enough to age!

Partagas Lusitanias

Haven't tried others, but think these are as good as it gets (so far)

The Partagas were called Churchill de Luxe back in the day. Wouldn't mind a Churchill sized Lusi though.
