Ken Gargett Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 i don't care whomsoever you chose to support but this is not a good look by any standards. for those offshore, or with vaguely acceptable pollies, if there is such a thing, the woman on the left is a former premier of the state of victoria and the woman on the right went on to become the prime minister of australia. Melbourne Late Show and Victorian Premier - Joan Kirner's rendition of Joan Jett's - "I Love Rock and Roll". But look closely at the leather mini-skirt clad “go-go dancer” girl ogling her – star struck! What's more scary? Joan Kirner in a leather jacket or Julia Gillard in a leather mini-skirt? Now coming to a house near you in Brighton, S.A.!!
westg Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 You sure that is Joan Kirner and not Chopper Reed
Stanislaw Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 I think what was probably more scary was after the show in the dressing room, when these two made love to one another....
Warren Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 I think a little bit of sick just came up in the back of my throat. I don't care what side of the fence you hang your vote, What ever happened to the notion of Statesman, or woman for that matter. When do we start being able to have respect for those who aspire to lead us. Would Winston Churchill have posted a selfee of himself with a shaving cut? These people deserve to be forgotten. Until Ken posted this photo I had forgotten about Gillard.
Rushman Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Would Winston Churchill have posted a selfee of himself with a shaving cut? Nice!
TheBaron Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Sometimes you've gotta give yourself a selfie if no one else will give you one... (or so I'm told!). Saw the debate between Rudd and Abbott tonight. One thing is for certain—there will be a lot of cringing going on the next 3 years no matter which muppett gets in. Does NZ have a 'stop the boats'policy? Thinking of jumping ship for a few years...
Fuzz AI Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Does NZ have a 'stop the boats'policy? Thinking of jumping ship for a few years... Don't need one. NZ has an open door policy for Australian citizens, and vice versa (with a minor restriction or two).
Dara Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 I used to be envious of Australia's politicians....but that was principally because of this man and his entry in the Guinness Book of Records!
Duxnutz Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Photoshop! Still, would be great if we could put her on a slow boat to some place.

Blakes Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Shocking! It reminds me of the awful pic's of a young Tony Blair.. in his "rockstar" days...(or so he thought) LOL a real wannabe Mick Jagger fur coat and long hair to boot!.
Trevor2118 Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 You sure that is Joan Kirner and not Chopper Reed Chopper Reed would not lower his standards to associate with politicians.
finecigar Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 That one on left sorta looks like Chaz bono..
Upnorth3 Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 LOL they pulled a fast one on Australians. Still better than our mayor (Toronto)......Google him.
Fuzz AI Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Julia's a total sharpie! I had to look that term up, cracked up when I found it!
MIKA27 Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Doesn't matter who one chooses, we are doomed whoever is elected. Our politicians are a bunch of Country bumpkin morons (No offence to those living in the country of course). Even looking outside of Labour and Liberal, the rest are just as bad!
Fuzz AI Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Agreed. Rudd leaves me feeling like I just threw up, and Abbott makes me want to have a decontamination shower. It gets worse when I even consider thinking about the Greens.
Reevzy Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 I had to look that term up, cracked up when I found it! This is the ultimate portrayal of the sharpie dance. And for those that are familiar with Michelle and Ferret, that is actually him at 1:52
Fuzz AI Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 This is the ultimate portrayal of the sharpie dance. And for those that are familiar with Michelle and Ferret, that is actually him at 1:52 Oh, is that what you meant? I thought you meant an extremely pale white woman dressed in black, so she looks like a sharpie marker pen.
