I found this on a blog belonging to an LCDH. I wonder if it is accurate...

'We know this since years - unpopular cigars and cigars not selling in sufficient quantities are taken off productionby the Cuban state monopole Habanos S.A.. Sometimes it’s nothing that makes the cigar community cry - but in some cases the discontinuation is hard to understand, to say the least. See what will be eliminated this year:

I would be carefully. Carefully may too harsh may be mindful fits better. This was the guy who had released the rumor the Trinidad line will be deleted.

But if the rumor will be confirmed it will hit me pretty hard, some of my fav. are on it.

I can't understand their logic here. They do intermittent production runs on LGC MdO 2. Every time the cigars hit the market, they sell out everywhere within weeks. They could raise the price by 30 bucks and still sell out within weeks. It seemed like the no. 2 was a perfect example of a better way of dealing with well-liked cigars that don't appeal to the masses.

And why would they delete the entire line except for the no. 4? I'm sure they're not selling any more of those than the 2s or Inmensos.

I've heard they are going to roll the unused tobacco in to a 80 gauge special, with three bands that costs £80 each.

what an annoying list. i can think of a few that i want to try that are on that list, a few i love and a few packaging decisions that i disagree with.

SLR Serie A and San Cristobal El Moro are two i still want to try

HdM Des dieux cab of 25 is annoying because i dont always have room for a 50cab to sit in my humidor for the 5 years it takes for those to be good. but im ok with a cab of 25.

LGC MdO 2 is always sold out. how can this not be selling? if they only make a small amount, then only a small amount is sold.
