DrunkenMonkey Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 I think your 100 stick humidor is a desktop, not a cabinet. I would do the same in your situation, as there isnt really room in your humidor for the boxes. Stick around and listen, there are many experts on this forum. I'm not one of them, but there are many here. And you may soon find that 80 boxes is not at all outrageous to have in your humidor, if you're fortunate.
Tino Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Pete, Like DrunkenMonkey says, it sounds like you're doing the right thing for you with a desktop 100 count. Take a look at this thread and you'll see that there are members from around the world with all manner of different set ups and configurations that are right for them: http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=109201&st=0 This place is a great community and a fountain of information so I would really recommend taking some time to read across the forum. Also, if you haven't already, post a quick introduction about yourself here: http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/forum/index.php?showforum=6
Maxismoke Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 But but but... you said putting my full boxes in my humidor was "pointless"? I'm confused.. Is it "pointless" or not?
Paul3 Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Gents let's cool it already. There are plenty of forums in the www.com world on which to prove who's got the bigger cigar. No need for that here. Opinions have been expressed, it's been acknowledged that they can be taken or left. How about we call it good and move on? Cheers
Habana Mike Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Without the quotes this would have been a quite confusing read.....glad to know ya CP13. I suspect we were being trollololed..
kttyrampton Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Does it matter if you leave the wrapper on the cigars when storing them in a cabinet humidor? Nope,, not at all !! It really doesn't matter whether you wrap it or not, And I guess if we wrap it and kept it inside the humidor in such case if some guest comes then?? Isn't would look good??

Ginseng Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 If you take off the wrapper the cigar becomes unsmokeable.I'm pretty sure you mean the cellophane sleeve. Wilkey
stargazer14 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Habanos SA also cancelled the Diplomatico 4 so their opinion on anything is suspect at best. This made me laugh. (and cry a little at the same time)
bugman78629 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I have got 80+ boxes, and i think a lot of other people here does to. Oh, and let me introduce you to a few friends of mine. Comma "," Exclamation mark "!" Question mark "?" Punctuation "." They are very handy when trying to string a sentence together. So is "Spell Check"............
Steens Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Wow, this type of thread should never be deleted this is really funny, still laughing i just love the wit on this forum
Maxismoke Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 So is "Spell Check"............ What did i spell wrong? Since i'm from Sweden, Swedish is the pretty much the only language i spell perfectly. Although French and German is ok as well. if you prefer we could continue in any of those languages...
Arnehaj Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Plaese go for Swedish ;-) (jag gillar inte rättstavnings jagande i detta format)
