shrink Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 As I read this thread, I was surprised by how many of the previously nominated cigars I had actually smoked this month. The list doesn’t include all the cigars I smoked in May, just those that others have nominated. In my order of preference: Cohiba Reserva Seleccion Piramide Ramon Allones "Gordie Howe" ‘01 Punch Monarca H Upmann Royal Robusto '02 LGC No.1 Partagas D4 Ramon Allones Superiore Monte Especial No 1 Partagas 898 1999 Hoyo des Dieux H Upmann No 2 Bolivar Gold Medal
Ptowncigar Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 A tie between a Coro and Lusitania..... But I was sht faced while smoking the Lusitania
bugman78629 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 For me........... it's Cohiba Majicos for May. These Lil Devils hit-the-spot this month!
asmith Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 My favourite would have to have been the Partagas P1. Cracked open a few for some of the lads Friday...glorious I was there on Friday, I must have missed the moment you were handing them out to your friends!
sabourin Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 RA Beritus 09 closely followed by a HDM Des Dieux 99
dicko Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 One of the blind tasting cigars i recieved... who knows what it was!! LOL. Same! Whatever it was it was good!
markmurase Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 the Partagas Lusitania I smoked on No Tobacco Day. Praise the gods. PSP Partagas Lusitania is my smoke of the month. I love the Lusi.
rsanz Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Best was probably a Mag 50 I smoked with my cousin on camping chairs set up on the Wellington Waterfront one lunchtime. Although I did enjoy all the RASCC (my usual favourite) I was able to smoke indoors while I was in Japan. Being able to smoke in the pubs and hotels etc was a nice experience.
Mr.T Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I'll go with the H.Upmann Royal Robusto. I really like these and will do my very, very best to keep my hands off the rest of the box and let them age a bit. Ahhh who am I kidding, I'll smoke em all by the end of the summer.....
sw15825 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 No doubt, JUN 2012 BHK 54 Considering their price, it should be!
Orion21 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 San Cristobal De La Habana O’Reilly A Hamlet Flying Pig I smoked the next night was close, but the O'Reilly was better. A link to my review of the O'Reilly is below: http://www.friendsof...howtopic=114514
bstarrs Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Upmann Mag48, was amazing. Bittersweet Chocolate, Wood, leather, it was awesome.
Phillys Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 A Monte GE and my first ever Partagas Short, both great cigars.
next Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 As unexperienced CC smoker I liked so much the JL Nº1 (MAR 2011) that I bought in a good price here... very rich and flavoured
Steens Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 2009 SLR DC about 1/2 way through the box and struck one of the best tasting cigars i've had, just unbeliveable flavors ,wishfull thinking tried two more since but the performance wasn't to be repeated
Dbone Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 A Siglo II from a box which has been smoking quite bad over the last couple years. However, the last few I've smoked have been outstanding.
