LeafLover Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 First of all, sorry in advance for posting the poorest quality pictures in the history of this forum. Anyway, I have a collection of cigar bands for cigars that were memorable to me whether it was the company, the setting of where it was smoked, or because the cigars was so dam fine. The collection was sitting in a box in my office and I wanted to do more with it. Initially, I was going to bling the frame of the doors of my fridgeadors but decided it against it as two have crapped out on me and what if my current ones will last. Honestly, was cursing myself for starting the project after 15 minutes as I am not crafty and patientce is not my strong suit. Well, just wanted to share....
Stanislaw Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 winner of best creative use of cigars bands so far... although, if you are traveling throughout the united states, you might raise a few red flags with those over-eager security people.... still, i would have purchased something this nice, well done....
Squarehead Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 LeafLover, there's nothing wrong with your pictures.I like it. Here is what I did with some bands and tubes and shadowboxes.
AndrewNR Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Travel Humidor and the framed bands and tubes both look awesome guys I'm sure there's a market out there for both of em!
nikesupremedunk Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 I was wondering what to do with all these bands sitting around and you just inspired me. Very creative!
LeafLover Posted February 19, 2013 Author Posted February 19, 2013 Thanks all. Got the idea from something I saw on tv where someone had a bunch of stickers on their luggage from all the places they've been to. Cost next to nothing to bling. Of course if you minus the cost of the travel case and the thousands spent on cigars. I still have have tons of cigar bands and i thought what I was gonna bling next. But I have to garner some more motivation and time.
