cigcars Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 half the cigar is covered in bands lol why the eff can't they release something 42-46 Here Here!!!
seanbeer Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 i have my petit robusto when I need a fat short one. please make the speical one a bit more speical, can ya? like a 46 160 , or a lancero...come on....habanos....once a while for these is enough.
Pilgrims Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 IMHO - pointless addition to the brand - there are now about 4 cigars all so close to the Epi 2, just make awesome epi2's and leave it at that...
Cohiba Stevie Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 It has two bands only. What would normally be the second band in the epicure series is now attached and part of the main marca band. I wonder if this will become the norm for the epicure 1, 2 and the especiale? I actually dont mind the hoyo bands, but the above just looks like there is too much happening. A bit gaudy in my opinion.
Charltonc Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I will stick with epi. no. 2 and petit robustos for much cheaper.
Cohiba Stevie Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I will buy a box when they come out no problem. Hoyo has been one of the most consistent marcas for me so despite its size and blingy band, i dont see why this wouldnt be an enjoyable cigar.
rckymtn22 Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Would be more interested if the ring gauge was 42 or 44.
CaptainQuintero Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 That's truly a band that puts Gurkha and the Opux X hilarity to shame! Without trying to be too negative, the first thing that hit me is what does this release bring to the table that the Hoyo SR and the Epi #2 doesn't already bring?
Scdalak Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Great another short Robusto that is more band than blend..... Just what we all wanted....
Deemancpa Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Here's a novel idea, why not improve the consistency of regular production. Just way too many EL/RE just like NC's way too many...
PigFish Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 ...yawn! Tabacuba... Building better boxes! This company model is downright stupid! I like petit robustos, too. I have an idea. 50 cab, no bands, retail price $150! Yawn, turns to, "I want some of those!" -

ramon_cojones Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 What I don't understand is the blind allegiance some have to new cigars, do you really think they will taste much different than a petite robusto or epi2? I don't even like the PRs because they taste exactly like epicure especiales, which isn't a bad thing but why do I want two cigars that taste the same let alone 3? You guys are driving this market. You all did this.
