There are many, LGC, RASS & Cohiba among then, but I think no 1 is the Sir Winston we received for this years blind tasting. Hearing so much about the SW being the best Churchill and finding out that the miserable excuse for a haystack I smoked was one of those... :(

The best churchill is SLR.

You shouldn't be. We all taste different, we all like different things. Just think about food. Some like mushrooms while the others don't. Some like lamb the others don't. Some like spinach the other

Cohiba Maduros

The entire EL program (at least every one I've tried)

Boli BBF & RC

Plenty I love on many other lists posted here though. These always make for interesting threads.

R&J - The entire line. I have had a few Wide Churchills that were only OK but everything else R&J I've smoked has always been crap.

Cohiba Maduros - I'm hoping a little age will help them; otherwise the box I have will have been a waste of cash.

Sir Winston - Love these sticks but all recent production of them I have had have been crap. Just look at how many were plugged from the blind taste test many of us took part in a few months back.

What a range of responses!

The cigars that I love that were not good are the ones that disappointed the most, either for construction (plugged, poorly made) or because the flavor profile was not consistent.

Otherwise, Juan Lopez #2 (tasted awful), the entire RyJ line (too light, no flavor), H. Upmann Mag 46 (no flavor). A lot of people are surprised that I dont like the Juan Lopez, so maybe I need to try another one.

It seems all cigars without exception were a disappointment, although many of the cigars mentioned are usually snapped up quickley during LFTH. Well taste is subjective.

Monte #2 Only had a couple and both burnt uneven :( I will try again one more time and have my fingers crossed for better results.

Bolivar RC and Belicoso followed by Cohiba Siglo 1 (for $10USD I could buy a PSD4 and get 3x the smoking time and great flavor).

I'd have to agree with many on the PSD4, just way to inconsistent.... it's a shame.

Although the biggest let down I've had on purchase is my box of Bolivar LE Petit Belicosos. Even to this day they taste like an ashtray, well maybe an ashtray flavor would be doing these smokes a favor. Only box I'd seriously consider dumping.

Biggest disappointment: every recent production punch with the exception of the French RE. I want to like the punch marca so bad but I just can't seem to do it.

Yep. i have yet to have one that was any good.

I enjoy du gourmets and epi 1s, 2s are pretty good. Had two great epicure especials from 08 so I got an 08 cab and they've been a disappointment and the petit robustos taste EXACTLY the same as the EE, it's like they chopped it in half. I don't want the same cigar.

But ya just like shlomo says, nobodys been raving about them so there aren't high expectations.

Trini robo T. Had 4 so far, 2 were plugged, 1 was a wind tunnel, and finally the last one tasted pretty good but tight drawing. They were one of the best looking box of cigars I've seen but don't smoke as well as they look and smell.

Monte 4 and sig 2 really were good when I tried a sampler but after I bought a box they werent as enjoyable although I get an itch for them once in a while.

- All the Monte line except for the especials. most disappointing were the GEs, Opens and As.

- Know I'll have a lot of haters for this, but partagas never gave me a wow moment to date.

- By far the worst, Cohiba Maduros, given the hype and price point.

For me, I'd have to say Cohiba Siglo VI. A lot of variability there, and none have really blown me away. Similar, Partagas SDN4 and SPN2, if you don't get them rich and dark and oily, again with the variability, they seem to be very blah if you don't get the right box.

On the other hand, those that aren't enjoying their Trini Robusto T's can feel free to PM me....

Por Larranaga UK RE and a tubos R&J short churchill

*And most recently that new Ramon Allones LE Extras. NO flavor or detectible aroma whatsoever. And I made sure and tried it twice to be fair and give it another shot. Enjoy the regular production and other Asia RE's much better.
