El Presidente Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Hi Gents - Do you expect to get new stocks of Ramon Allones Extras Ed Lim 2011 At last check, nothing this month. We really had great stock levels but they went quickly. I assume it was much of the same world wide.
Scdalak Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 At last check, nothing this month. We really had great stock levels but they went quickly. I assume it was much of the same world wide. Well I'll be a dirty bird, good thing I stocked up early...
CaptainQuintero Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Seems to be love or hate, more people tend to love it than hate it but there are significcant numbers of people who hate them, strange cigar!
khamy Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 my hit prediction is that more people will come to love it as the years roll over. My box is in hibernation but i wont hesitate to have one every few months, its a decent enough smoke now.
Fuzz AI Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Got a box in storage. Not sure when I'll get them sent down. Hopefully I'll enjoy them, else they will be relegated to my handout stash.
nikesupremedunk Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 They are still available although the price might be slightly higher. I'm probably going to have one before winter hits and see how it evolves in spring.
Ghabanos Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Love the flavs I get but hate my box - fricken plugged.
Rushman Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Love the flavs I get but hate my box - fricken plugged. That sucks. Let it sit and age and maybe it might improve. Else, dry box a stick for longer than normal and see how it fares. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=20.631725,-87.070652
Pilgrims Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I'm a big fan, different profile and great size...both good things
Ophidion Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Right out of the box an or two months after they were great. Then about six months of a dumb period followed up by that same great flavor that I fell in love with early on. I am holding the bottom row of a box for aging. I still think the RACF and RA sups are better.
LLC Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I have one box I'm smoking through slowly and a couple more resting. I really enjoy these and haven't had a bad one yet. I'll definitely be getting a few more boxes to put away.
capnshazam Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I think they are great I've been smoking them pretty slowly though. I have noticed a change in them has time passed, but I haven't had a bad one yet.
hdryder Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I have not been impressed at all with these cigars. With that being said I just tried another and it was better so hopfully they just need some down time to come around. I will try again in 5 or 6 months.
sw15825 Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I have heard that these might be made for the long haul. From the experts, Not me! I have never smoked one, too much coin for my bank.
kyee Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I'm a fan of this cigar. will be looking for a couple more boxes.
maverickdrinker Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I like em but they are different than the traditional RA profile. Looking forward to seeing how they age...
olotti Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I've only smoked 1 RAE and it was excellent love the size and yes its a bit of a departure from the reg RA line but I'd imagine they only get better. Kind of like the RACF's were way off base from a RA line when young, Oh so strong but I like that, but the box I have from 09 is really coming into theyre own after only 4yrs. Between the two it'd be hard to decide they're both good but also slightly different from each other. I think they'll both be great smokes in theyre own right and were meant for ageing unless you like the oomph up front.
mk05 Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 General thought is that this cigar will take a very long time to be approachable and become an RA. Personally, I see some potential, but the HdM PP blew it out the water in terms of 2011 LE.
