sblevit
I have a mule going to Paris and I'd like to direct him to a cigar store where they are likely to carry a wide selection of the France REs such as the new QdO Robustos and some of the older France REs such as the Boli Petit Libertadores and JL Obus. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
backslide
http://www.alacivette.fr/ is the tabac I liked most in Paris. They had boxes of Boli, and Ramon Allones RE's. This shop also had the best selection out of the 10 or so tabac's i visited. I'm also looking for more Boli petit liberadores i paid about 7 euro per stick. canadianbeaver
Loved it at La Civette. Here is a picture of when I was there: http://instagr.am/p/NTP9t8i1qI/ If possible, get another fellow to help you other than the one in the foreground helping me. When I got back to my apartment, many of my RE's had cracked feet etc.
in0gravity
A la Civette has a good range of RE's. Go there all the time when I'm in Paris. regards Lars
kodebusan
Art Tabac 2 Place de Catalogne 75014 Paris have a good reputation among Parisian Amateur. You also have: Le Lotus 4 Arcade, 75008 Paris Long time time tobacconist. With a good selection but very "Parisian" welcoming (except if you are lucky enough to have "the" nice guy who know about cigars, apparently there's only one) you have: Drugstore Publicis on the upper Champs-Elysée. These are some of the well known Parisian tobacconist.
Dimmers
Thanks for the tips, went to A La Civette today, it's just round the corner from the Lourve. A decent selection, though they display only a half dozen of each different stick ( and a few sticks here and there were worse for wear). Picked up a single each of HDM Epi 2 and a RASCC for 16 euros total.
Drguano
Last April, I had a nice time at A la Civette. The Duty Free at Charles de Gaulle also has a modest selection. I picked up a box of Ramone Allones Superiores for 75 Euros there and they are smoking nicely now.
Smallclub
The shop A la Civette was founded in 1716. Oldest tobacconist in France, one of the oldest in Europe.

Stalebread
Interesting thread! I'm heading to Paris in Oct. Now....are there any indoor lounges left? Cubana Cafe at 47 rue Vavin, in the Montparnasse area. I think some of the larger hotels have smoking areas, enclosed, in-door patios. And, of course, any terrace if they have their outdoor heaters fired up.
Dimmers
From what I can make out , you can smoke just about anywhere in Paris ha. Will be checking out the Hemmingway Bar this week (Ritz hotel), apparently a well regarded cigar bar.

JTR
Will be checking out the Hemmingway Bar this week (Ritz hotel), apparently a well regarded cigar bar. I'm going Paris in November and a visit to the Hemingway Bar was at the top of my list. Sadly, the bar seemed to have closed for good. Hash
Boutique 22 , on Victor Hugo, is quite good, and there is a La Casa Del Habanos on St. Germain.
Smallclub
and there is a La Casa Del Habanos on St. Germain. No, it's closed since… years… I can't even remember… and it wasn't a "real" LCDH. The owner of this shop had been clever enough to register the trademark in France before HSA have thought to do it. CBL
There's a very small store on Champs Elysee called Tabac George V. They have a QdO Imperiales Tubo that I haven't seen anywhere else in Paris. Worth picking up if you're in the neighborhood!

There is no Imperiales Tubo; I have checked the french cigars forums, can't find any mention of such a novelty. I remember that Altadis, importer/distributor of the Quai d'Orsay marca in France, created some fancy packagings for the renewing/relaunching of the brand in 2005, but there was no tubos…

Might not have been an official release.

Certain links into the ritz website for the bar, don't show that last paragraph about the bar closing.
