For me no hesitations:

LUSITANIAS

Box Code: OPA Dic 09

No other cigar has taken me on a comparable journey of complexity and flavours (some I couldn't even define). Stunning opening, furtive notes, accented passages, changes in rythm and in the background a relentless crescendo building up to an incredible finish. What an incredible symphony! This cigar and I did not want to part company.... even a Lusitanias can be too short a cigar!

I wrote this thread whilst enjoying a gorgeous Sir Winston (courtesy of my son) and thinking what could be better than this? Son, I left one of those Lusis in your humidor...

On my side,

Collectable the VR Famosos Ramirez art edition.

My best cigars the only boxes I would keep if I had to choose are my Monte Sublimes 2008.

Good thread can wait to see what the others have to say.

Awesome! :2thumbs: I've got incoming 898's from DIC 09. Wonder what the odds are of them also being OPA? :hungry:

Everything that's still in my humidor. I've gifted away all the crap to the guys at my club with no palate. Natural selection at its best. LOL

every single marque and vitola in my small, humble "collection" is my pride and joy. they are all CC's and i haven't had a bad one so far. plus the fact that they're illegal where i live sort of adds to the appeal :innocent:

i hear ya. i have a box of cheap honduran cigars that i bought thinking i would use them as cheap daily smokes. after 2 or 3 i never wanted to touch them again lol. now it's just taking up precious room in my wineador and i don't even have any friends that smoke to gift them to... :pod:

I have a few Don Candidos left that are out of this world, some customs from Greece which are a fair approximation of the old Davidoff blend, the few remaining Davidoff Cheatux series yet to be smoked, and 2 Partagas Salomone from the Habanos Milienium dinner in 2000.

It's a great question. Someone was writing about Lusitanias, this is indeed a stunnung cigar. I have about 15 left but for me, I think the favorite CC in my collection has to be the Siglo VI. A while ago, it was the first high end cigar box that I was able to buy and I was blown away by the complexity of this cigar.

Since then, I started making more money and had the chance to buy many more Cohibas, even 3 boxes of the splendid 1966 but the Siglo VI remains for me the pride and joy of my collection.

My boxes of 2008 Montecristo Sublimes that I smoke on my wedding anniversary

My boxes of 2010 Montecristo Grand Edmundos that I smoke on my son's birthday.

My boxes of BHK 52, 54, 56s, Cohiba 1966s and my Cohib Siglo VIs and lanceros.

My final box of Cohiba Sublimes, Double Coronas, Reservas and Gran Reservas. All precious to me.

Do I get to count what's in my wife's collection? If so I'd have to say the Montecristo Compay Segundo 95th birthday limited edition humidor, one of ninety five. It's not ornate or particularly pretty, but it's quite limited.

Had she not sold the carved Robaina humidor that would be it.

If I have to count my own collection by itself, it would likely be the 08 cabinet of SLR DC's.

Funny, when I read the first post, I thought of my remaining 08 SLR DC's too...haven't touched one since last year and it was outstanding. Looking forward to sampling again soon...

That's a tough call... Probably my two boxes of Punch Ninfas and my one box of Cohiba Reserva from Dec 2002, followed by my box of Monte #4 Reserva.
