Marker Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 You are going to need to pare this down a touch. There are A LOT of CC for many varied palates.

pjansen Posted February 23, 2012 Author Posted February 23, 2012 ok how about the best buy cigar with the flavor profile of expresso or cocoa or cream
Blackham Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I'll pick air miles over this any day. jokes aside, IMO the petite corona size from each marca is a good value why not try a sampler pack from Czar?
pjansen Posted February 23, 2012 Author Posted February 23, 2012 yeah i am new to CC ive had two or three but ive mostly been a padron and fuente guy. so i like the padron like flavors. im just not sure where to find those in CC but i do like the petite corona size
Orion21 Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Bolivar Petit Corona is the best in my opinion, but most will be very good. The sampler is a great idea. IMO if you like Padron and Fuente you will love H. Upmann. The Upmann Mag 46, Mag 50 and No. 2 are fantastic cigars to try. Hope this helps and WELCOME!!!
pjansen Posted February 23, 2012 Author Posted February 23, 2012 ill have to look into those. thanks it helps alot. im building a coolidor to start my collection. a sampler looks great. which one would be best?
Wil Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 ill have to look into those. thanks it helps alot. im building a coolidor to start my collection. a sampler looks great. which one would be best? It depends what size you like. Personally, I would go for the petit corona sampler.
ramon_cojones Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 and been asked already this week, spend some time going through some threads
ksblazer Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I think this link would be very helpfull for you. http://www.friendsof...=1
FireDigger Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Don't start off buying boxes. Try all the brands and vitolas that Habanos SA has to offer. Try at least 2 or 3 in case you get a dud.
TankerT Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 No need to apologize. The Czar has some great samplers. Try one of them. Decent price points, with good cigars. Order one of those to help you figure out which brands you like.
DougB Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Enjoy bro and welcome! Ask as many questions as you can think of- there are plenty of great people that are here to help you out. Samplers are a great idea- especially in the vitola that you like.
Pilgrims Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 When you mention coffee and cream it makes me think Petit Edmundo (monte), not sure if anyone agrees but that my view. Ask away on the question front!
TremontiSG Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 The BOTL who got me really into CCs ordered me a sampler of some different sticks to try. I ended up pretty much liking them all. It included Mag 46, Ramon Allones Specially Selected, Bolivar Royal Coronas, Trinidad Reyes, And a couple of other sticks. All very enjoyable and different from each other in taste so I could start seeing which flavors I leaned towards. Good luck!
TremontiSG Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 When you mention coffee and cream it makes me think Petit Edmundo (monte), not sure if anyone agrees but that my view. Ask away on the question front! Agree 100%. First PEs I had were like smoking peppercorn and not enjoyable at all. Let them sit for a while and now they're like espresso in stick form!
JohnLeupp Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Try the Juan Lopez Seleccion No 1. Very nice Corona Gorda
mk05 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 no no no everyone's wrong. BUY EVERYTHING. Just do it. Get a gigantic fridge, unplug it, put a 65% bead pack in it, start buying random boxes, smoke it, if you don't like it, shove it on the bottom of the fridge. Guarantee that you will like it when you find it 5 years later. no such thing as too many smilies
SCgarman Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Bolivar Petit Coronas!-great cigar and very reasonably priced.
Skitalets Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 I vote HdM petit robustos. Best short smoke in the Habanos portfolio IMHO.
