El Presidente Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I had a request to try and secure the perfect cab of Lusi's for a good mate. He has been waiting a long while for this. I don't think he will be disappointed
brazoseagle Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Yep.......Um..........WOW.........instant cigar boner!
Figaro Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Do this with another vendor (who is also a friend). Good luck.
Styler Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Just take a second and imagine a world where all cubans were of that standard..... *sigh*
SCgarman Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I would not even want to smoke any of these, they are too perfect to burn down!
Schumi5 Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Spectacular, not a flaw to be seen! Congrats to whomever gets to welcome these into their home!
Doctorossi Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I have some Lusi's that look like those. ... I sure don't have 50 of them, though.
Squarehead Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 What do I have to do to be your Friend? Those sticks look great.
tempbond Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Just take a second and imagine a world where all cubans were of that standard..... *sigh* Imagining a world where every cuban is half as good as those are, still requires a lot of imagination... I know that Habanos can't have such beautiful wrappers on every cigar, but can they at least get the draw and the flavour right on every cigar ?
PigFish Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 ... I would count them if Ken has been in the office!!! -LOL
Dbone Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Holy cow, that's a lot of high quality smoking right there. Someone's a happy boy
Diamondog Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Question on these for those with experience with the Lusis....I got a 50 cab very similar to these (HQ) towards the end of summer....I had one not too long after arrival and the draw was firm (firmer than my liking) so I figured it needed some adjustment time....I tried one again a couple weeks ago and it was similar....I am wondering these just have a firm draw or I can expect them to open up with more down time?

I have 2010 Lusi's and they were fine draw wise. I did have to relight a few times but I chalked that up to wind.
kaleehb Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 WOW! Those sticks make PSP look like crap. Nice pick-up!
El Presidente Posted February 4, 2012 Author Posted February 4, 2012 Question on these for those with experience with the Lusis....I got a 50 cab very similar to these (HQ) towards the end of summer....I had one not too long after arrival and the draw was firm (firmer than my liking) so I figured it needed some adjustment time....I tried one again a couple weeks ago and it was similar....I am wondering these just have a firm draw or I can expect them to open up with more down time? I find the vast majority of DC's have a "Pull Draw"/Cuban Draw. If I want a more open draw I will dry box for 3-4 days prior.
