ChanceSchmerr Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I have yet to get enough time to elaborate in my Deployment Journal - but my three best cigars in September were.... 1. El Rey Del Mundo Petit Coronas, OTS MAR 09, 95 Points........Smoked on the beach at Elaphonisi, Crete 2. Diplomaticos No. 1, ARA MAR 01, 93 Points....................Smoked on the deck of my ship during a duty watch 3. Partagas Serie du Connoisseur No .2, unk date, 92 Points.....Smoked at sea The ERDM PC was just a wow cigar....sweet ginger and citrus abounding with smooth light tobacco. The Diplo 1 was astonishing, given my low expectations of it, and the Party SDC 2 was bang on - creamy pepper with loads of spice and character. It was a good month for cigars!

Michel1968 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 A somewhat disappointing month when it comes down to cigars... Just one highlight but a serious one: Bolivar Especiales ER 2009 Everything was right about this cigar, even the fact it's still young (quite some ammonia in the last third). I hope it keeps itself together in the future.
Puros Y Vino Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Hamlet Custom Robusto Extra Romeo Y Julietta Cazadores (OMG the power! Very tangy/tasty cigar though) ERDM Choix Supreme.

Schumi5 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 I see the Hamlet custom rolls are getting lots of love on this thread. I know he was here in Vancouver this past weekend and was just wondering if anyone who had tried his stuff recently would care to share some thoughts on the flavour profile of his custom rolls? Similar to anything mainstream? Thanks!
