El Presidente Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 It was a blind tasting with Trevor Leask that made me go on a search for the Upmann Robusto Travel Humidor. It certainly was one of my top 5 cigars of this year. A few years has done wonders. You can revisit the blind tasting here http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/forum/inde...howtopic=106102 Well I have managed to get some in (will be here in 5-10 days). Anyone keen e-mail Lise as there are not too many. [email protected] $211 USD $269 AUD From the HSA website

lancerv43 Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Nice after seeing this review I really wanted to try one of them too bad I'm in the poor house right now. I'm sure whoever gets em will enjoy em.
Maron76 Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Damn it Rob, just when I thought it was safe you sneak up with this. Lol very nice find, email sent.
riazp Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Yeah as great as the review is and as beautiful the package is..I cant get myself to spend 211$ for 6 cigars, (but I wish I could!)but thats me, whoever is buying this will be getting a beautiful collectors item for sure.
Lotusguy Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 I can highly recommend to pick up one of these! I am on my second one (and the empty first one is my current travel humidor)
Ghabanos Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Can't wait for mine... I don't see it as 211 for 6 sticks... U get the trevl humi too... Now I can bring my sticks on vacation and avoid looking for a shop... Excellent...

Ghabanos Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Exactly. So if the missus asks, you're actually saving money Great minds think aLike
benjaminbbush Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Exactly. So if the missus asks, you're actually saving money My wife, an accountant, only see this logic in shoes and lilly pullitzer dresses! NOT cigars, sadly.

cgarner Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 I have a feeling these things are sold out or will be soon. I sent Lisa an email early today and I doubt I made it in time.
melies Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 I also sent and email earlier today, please let there be enough!
Wil Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 These arrived today. Thanks Rob, Lisa et al! They look fantastic! Rob, can the travel case and box go straight into the humidor, or would the sticks be better off in a desktop?
laranced Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 These arrived today. Thanks Rob, Lisa et al! They look fantastic!Rob, can the travel case and box go straight into the humidor, or would the sticks be better off in a desktop? Good question Wil. I have taken my sticks out and have them in my desktop. The aroma on them was mind blowing!!! I have filled the humidor bar at the bottom with beads. Will definitely be taking it with me to Vanuatu. But it is hard to tell how it is tracking inside as you can't get any measuring device in there. Would be good to know if the timber is spanish cedar.
El Presidente Posted July 14, 2011 Author Posted July 14, 2011 I cant see any reason why the Case couldn't be in the humidor. Won't do any harm.
