We are progressively finding out which Cuban Cigar has the highest rate of member satisfaction (and the lowest). I will run through the 30 most popular cigars during April/May and will provide an ongoing chart to see how the cigars stack up.

It should go without saying to only vote if you have actually tried one

Love Lanceros, this one being one of my fav's

Never had one that was short of outstanding!!

I almost always have a good experience with Lanceros. But I try to set myself up well for the occasion, proper time and situation and all, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Good solid cigar, but I find the Corona Especiales to be stronger & have more intense flavor, so I buy those instead of Lanceros

Recommended age on them? Or smoke fresh?

I'd like to know this as well. Box Im smoking out of has 3 years and is quite a bit on the medium full to full. A powerhouse smoke. I have never been disappointed with a Lanceros. My favorite Cuban cigar to date.

I'm smoking a box of CLE 11/01. Fantastic cigars. I give my self time to enjoy and savor them. It's a great afternoon ball game smoke. I had to learn to go slow, someone said "sip" the cigar. Once I did I am a convert to the long and skinny. I'd like to get a box that are very strong and put them down for ten years.

I have only smoked one Cohiba Lancero. It was an '01 gifted to me by perfectform (thanks again Luke!). Damn fine cigar and a gorgeous looking one at that!

Solid smoke. My wife gifted me a box from the LCDH in Aruba. (Yes, I have a great wife and yes they were CRAZY expensive). Construction fantastic and burn second to none.

While I love smokin' Cohibas, I've never had a stellar Lancero. Splendid CoRo, Esplendidos and Siglo Is and IIs...yes, but never a great Lancero. I much prefer the Trinidad Fundadore over the Cohiba Lancero. Therefore, I voted Generally an Average Cigar.

Let's see if we have our first 90% positive rating

In general, I hold Cohibas for 3 years before smoking, but the couple 2010s I've tried (Siglo IIIs) have been amazing for a young cigar.

Agreed. I have a DIC 09 box of Siglo IVs that are great for how young they are.
