I will run through the 30 most popular cigars during April/May and will provide an ongoing chart to see how the cigars stack up. Nocoins Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 I almost always have a good experience with Lanceros. But I try to set myself up well for the occasion, proper time and situation and all, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Dbone Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Recommended age on them? Or smoke fresh? I'd like to know this as well. Box Im smoking out of has 3 years and is quite a bit on the medium full to full. A powerhouse smoke. I have never been disappointed with a Lanceros. My favorite Cuban cigar to date.
joeypots Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 I'm smoking a box of CLE 11/01. Fantastic cigars. I give my self time to enjoy and savor them. It's a great afternoon ball game smoke. I had to learn to go slow, someone said "sip" the cigar. Once I did I am a convert to the long and skinny. I'd like to get a box that are very strong and put them down for ten years.

thechenman Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 While I love smokin' Cohibas, I've never had a stellar Lancero. Splendid CoRo, Esplendidos and Siglo Is and IIs...yes, but never a great Lancero. I much prefer the Trinidad Fundadore over the Cohiba Lancero. Therefore, I voted Generally an Average Cigar.
