Just had the big Cohiba Maduro 5 (Genios, I think). Man, what an experience of dark chocolate and rich coffee and cream. Mmmm!

Have to say it was an RnJ Cazadores.. a real eye opener for me. Smooth not harsh, but loads of power. Deep into the 2nd third it started to get this heavy cooking chocolate/dark coffee flavor. Loved the strength too. Tons of oily patches on it.

Please don't flame me but it was a non Cuban! A Coronado by LaFlor Dominicana. TONS of leather and coffee and ranks up there with some great Cubans. Very good for a Dominican cigar and if you can get one definitely try it.

My first Diplomaticos No. 5, which was from Feb 09. Great little cigar with interesting and very different flavors as compared to the box of No. 2s I've been smoking. I want more.

Sir Winston with friends after hosting a wine tasting this past month. The whole thing was great!

I had 3 great cigars in April, but I think a Monte #2 from '07 takes the crown. There was a crack in the wrapper at the tip too, which forced me to take a larger cut than usual, so I was really surprised by how great the cigar turned out to be.

A week ago, I was ready to declare the Por Larranaga Robusto RE the best of the past month.

But the Ramon Allones Estupendo RE I smoked this weekend set a new high-water mark. Without doubt, one of the most enjoyable cigars I've ever had. The construction, burn, draw and smoke quality were unimpeachable. The flavor was classic RA, with sweet wood, dried fruits, and some nuttiness in the background. But the quality of the tobacco, and the resulting smoothness, richness and complexity were second to none. Every draw was pure Habanos bliss, and it remained so down to the last inch.

This wasn't a strong cigar by any means, in fact I'd describe it as medium bodied. Still, it dominated all my senses, and was completely satisfying. Bravo, Ramon!

siglo VI. Dunno when its from as i bought it in the 3 per box. Was very good with sweetness and creamyness like all the siglos. I had one like a year ago but that was not good. quite harsh and strong. So i let this one stay in the desktop humidor for a year. It was really an experience.

*A rarely found, rarely had El Rey del Mundo lonsdale thanks to directions of a friend on the forum. Smooth, wonderful, heavenly...to be reminisced again and again...and again! :cigar::daydream:

Thursday night: Partagas P2 from a Czars Partagas Party Pack. This is strange, but I got savory sage and thyme with butter. Roast chicken anyone? Beverage: Havana Club 7 yr.

For me, it's between a Cohiba Siglo VI or a Ramone Allones Petit Unicos (Canada Regional Edition)

Those cigars were very good!
