KB24 Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Just curious to know if we have any actors or professional athletes that are active members of the forum. I understand if we do but they don't want to come forward. I was just interested to know. -Patrick
CanuckSARTech Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 They call me Dr. Love. But, my close friends call me McLovin'.
thechenman Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Chen - is a 'fluffer' considered a star?.... IMHO...yes...maybe not a megastar with a household name, but a star nonetheless...all comes down to who your fluffing...
CBL Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 This topic was bound to spin hopelessly out of control I think the only famous people here are the ones talking **** in those youtube videos every week

First Lady Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Honestly this is going to totally go astray I can see that LOLOL Dave you are definately Mr Fluff the pusher of the Fluffernutter
Habanos2000 Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I threw 3 touchdown passes in a super bowl once... then I woke up.
Habanakane21 Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Although, a porn star sounds like a great, great gig!!! and my wife would say that I'm a professional channel surfer....I actually spent 3 years in the NFL...in the mid 90's with the New Orleans Saints. Couple years on the practice squad and then played in 15 games until I tore my knee up. I didn't have a long career but I suppose my biggest highlight was against the New England Patriots. I ended up getting 12 tackles and 2 interceptions. No big feat since the Quarterback was Drew Bledsoe!! LOL...
FlyFishingDude Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I threw 3 touchdown passes in a super bowl once... then I woke up. Was that for Polk High....

Habanakane21 Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Pretty cool were you a safety #35? Yup, that's me.
CigarmanTim Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Chen - is a 'fluffer' considered a star?.... lmao
tmac77 Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Yup, that's me. 2 picks and 12 tackles is a great game! even if it was against Bledsoe. If my memory serves me right Jim Morra was the Saints coach at that time... Playoffs ??!!??

If my memory serves me right Jim Morra was the Saints coach at that time... Playoffs ??!!?? Yes, Jim Mora Sr, was the head coach and my secondary coach was his son, Jim Mora Jr. Who later became Atlanta's head coach and the Seattle Seahawks head coach.. No playoffs...7-9,,,typical Saints back in the 90's. 93 we went 8-8, and 94" we went 8-8.

The playoffs comment was a referance to Jim Mora Sr's, now famous, postgame quote: "Playoffs?! Don't talk about playoffs! You kidding me?! Playoffs?! I'm just hoping we can win a game, another game!" When he was the coach of the Colts. For those FOH's who are not familiar with the NFL. To play saftey at the NFL level you have to be one of the best, if not the best, conditioned athlete on the field.
bassman Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Had a nice conversation with Al Pacino on the street in NYC once. That's as close as I've come to star status.
laficion Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 This topic was bound to spin hopelessly out of control I think the only famous people here are the ones talking **** in those youtube videos every week I agree on that , we have our own Actor, actress and Athlete, Rob, Lisa & Smithy Remember guys, " It's not important if you win or lose, it's how good you look on TV"
CigarB Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Bledsoe was no slouch, that's pretty cool! Also, just to step onto an NFL field means you were one of the best in the world at something, not many can claim that. Must have been nice to get your two from Bledsoe with him being a Washington State guy.
ckearns Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 NFL? Wow, that's so amazing! You should be very proud. You lived the dream that millions of young males never had the chance/talent/skills/physical attributes to do. So Kane, do you mind if I send you my football pool pick-sheets next year?!
