El Presidente Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 No brainer for me this week. Partagas 898 V. It has been a few weeks 9maybe more) since I have visited 898V. More fool me. Glorious ......"classy mongrel".
aes8 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Easy one for me also. 08 TEB Partagas Lusi while I watched Pac Man confirm his nickname as the "Mexicutioner" while sipping a tumbler of 12 year Glenfiddich.
Jesuscookies Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Hmm, interestingly enough, it was a super cheapo Raphel Gonzalez Panatelas Extra. Great daily smoke, not too complex, but very flavorful, and just the right size for a lunch break cigar.
cigcars Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 *That's easy for me. I've gotten ahold of the Punch Black Prince (3 of 'em!). You could tell and see the age on them. Those wrappers were smooth like glass. Aroma on-target. Smoked 2 of them already this week...'couldn't stay out of 'em! Had to share with brother-in-law. He was of a rare-type of impressed too!
ryans Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 HDM Epicure No. 2 MAS SEP 07 Today celebrating Seb Vettel's F1 championship victory Another cigar that positively surprised me this week was the R&J Mille Fleurs. It was handed out at a dinner party and for that price it's pretty impressive.
adic88 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 For me, surprisingly, it was a Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill. Quite quite nice, though i didn't appreciate the mouth feel due to the large RG.
Wicky Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Sancho Panza Molinos. A new cigar to me. Finding it's place right up there in the heavy rotation.
Erm310mce Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Siglo II for me this week. My first Siglo II and by far the best small format cigar I have had. Actually, one of the best cigars I've had all year for me.
Cohiba007 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Tampa custom. Very enjoyable. That kind of cigar that you just don't want to end.
Nocoins Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Cohiba Siglo IV from March 09. A little young maybe, but still very very nice.
#2 man Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Easy one for me also.08 TEB Partagas Lusi while I watched Pac Man confirm his nickname as the "Mexicutioner" while sipping a tumbler of 12 year Glenfiddich. I'll second that ! I smoked one from same box code last night
CanuckSARTech Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Mag 50, from a trade - glorious cigar, time well spent. Tried the R&J WC too, but it was the loser of the week for me. Boring, uninspiring, one-dimensional.
Bahnofstrasse Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 08 Bolivar Legendarios RE Swiss...first one in about a year. They are smoking marvelous. Enjoyed it with a nice Erdinger Weissbier. 80 minutes of pure pleasure
rckymtn22 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 San Cristobal La Punta, pretty damn good but had a hard time keeping lit towards the end.
Van55 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I did not smoke a cigar this week. I fondly remember the days that I would retire to my man cave after dinner almost every evening to enjoy a cigar and a libation. Since the diagnosis. smoking a cigar is a once every 6 weeks or more experience. My last cigar was a Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo du Roi. I truly enjoyed it. It wasn't as woody as my favorite Des Dieux, but it had woody notes, and plenty of exotic flavors. For those (if any) wondering about my health status, I have had excellent response to chemo and no progression of the disease since. I am cautiously optimistic that, at worst, I have the ***** cornered.
mbrody Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Tampa...followed by a Hoyo Epi2. Get that thing Vann.
ronin Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 For those (if any) wondering about my health status, I have had excellent response to chemo and no progression of the disease since. jacksfull Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Monte #2 SOA OCT 08 - Finally hit its stride... and, oh, what a stride it is!
thechenman Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Good to hear from you Van. Thanks for the update. Glad to hear that you are doing well. Sorry to hear about the limited cigar smoking. My smoking has been limited of late too, but more due to work than anything else. Best cigar of the week for me actually surprised me...it was a Ramon Allones Small Club Corona from early 2010. Enjlyed it while kicking back on my front porch enjoy the fading afternoon sunlight. Simply amazing. Didn't want it to end...
coneatty Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 rass POL May 10. First one I've ever had. Really nice.
