I KNOW ITS HARD BUT EVERYONE HAS ONE
Fuzz Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Best cigar I've ever had? Very hard choice there. It would have to be an aged (I think it was an 03) Trinidad Fundadores. Not was it just a fantastic cigar, with a fine velvety wrapper and oozing gorgeous creaminess (made me order a box from Lisa the next day)... it was also provided free by my buddy Jase!! I am such a mooch...
MrGlass Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Epicure No.2, but no idea what year. It was this cigar which was really responsible for me pursuing my interest in Cubans. It was gifted to me by the vendor when I was buying some other cigars for a weekend away. This thing was the most delicious cigar I had ever smoked, and I was still thinking about the taste of it two days later. It actually ruined every cigar I had bought because I was (foolishly) expecting them to live up to that standard. First moment of Cigar Nirvana, and I still look back on that afternoon with fond memories. Nick.
sosamscott Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Mag 50 which I smoke this summer in Nice on the French Riviera. Everything (flavor, good company, weather, etc...) just came together and made it the most enjoyable single cigar I have ever smoked.
JoshMP Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 '99 Le hoyo Du Depute It. Was. Perfect Flavor. Perfect Burn Perfect Draw Perfect Experience Perfect.
MIKA27 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 There are so many Maximus but if I must pick I will ALWAYS pick the VR Unicos.
hddeucebrad01 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I have only been smoking CCs for about 3 years but so far Monte Sublime LE 2008. Can't wait to try after few years aging.
brian1 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 mid 1980's La Escepcion Longos. A Perfect 100point cigar for me.
Colt45 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Romeo y Julieta Exhibicion No.4 from September 1999. (Thanks PT )
Puros Y Vino Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 For me a Davidoff No 1. For a 40 year old cigar it had impeccable burn, the flavours were complex from foot to head, it has some strength left in it and loads of creamy smoke. It was not just a great smoke, it was an experience.
bassman Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 2002 Taboada Super Robusto, smoked in Havana's Parque Centrale less than an hour after being rolled for me at La Corona factory. Regular production- 92 Lusi, smoked a couple years ago at my house.
laficion Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Maximus, If it has to be," The Best Ever" or " The Only One " Then there's no question about which one for me. It was THIS cigar. Simply Majestic !!!!!
cellinisart Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Maximus,If it has to be," The Best Ever" or " The Only One " Then there's no question about which one for me. It was THIS cigar. Simply Majestic !!!!! Good job finding that one guy , Mitchell Orchant in UK had some for sale a few months back I should have got one. he wanted $450US each.
FireDigger Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I haven't smoked many bling cigars, mostly regular production, EL's, and RE's since 2007. Out of that bunch, my favorite has to be a Sir Winston (don't know what year). It was such a beautiful cigar.....
bob25 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 For me it was my first Cuban cigar, which was my first cigar in general. It was RyJ#2 ,I still remember the taste ,it was a great day.

That sounds like me. The first few Cubans I had were game-changers. They're regular production cigars, but left deep impressions. Since then, I've been disappointed more than I've been pleasantly-surprised. Some of those big disappointments came from an Edmundo Dantes 109, RA Estupendo, and Cohiba Secretos just to name a few.
Ken Gargett Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 a really good hamlet probably tops things. the tang monarchs pretty close.
cigcars Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 ...a Cohiba Esplendido that was no doubt from before 1998. My head, my awareness, my eyes, my senses went into places that only a diet pill-head cold pill-port wine combo did to me in 1979 in my college years!!!
steve047 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 For me it has to be the Partagas Serie D. No. 4. Reserva 2000
jackohalloran Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 a really good hamlet probably tops things. the tang monarchs pretty close. I agree Ken, A perfect Hamlet is hard to beat. Probably my best cigar. So glad i managed to get a few. they will age nicely in my desktop
