SandmanTR Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 After about a month of looking, I just placed an order for an Aristocrat THC Mxt 26.5. Just like a lot of people before me, I now impatiently count down the days till I see her in all her magnificence. I can't wait!!!
Tampa1257 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I am sure you will be pleased with Bob's work, I have owned my Aristocrat THC Plus 48 for several years now and it keeps my cigars in perfect condition.
Rogers72 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Lucky!!! I am sure it will be gorgeous and that you will cherish it for years to come. I would love something like that but I'm scared to death of the cost of filling it. One day.
SandmanTR Posted March 5, 2010 Author Posted March 5, 2010 Thanks all! Bob was telling me that they do somewhere between 400 - 500 humidors a year. CRAZY.
PartagasIV Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Congrats! Just wait until you have to get it into your house...even my M Plus THC was a hassle. But Bob packages his humis like tanks.
dochowl Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 That is a nice looking humidor. Enjoy. (and post some pics when it is filled up)
BrandonJ Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Looks amazing! Can't wait to see it up and running!
SandmanTR Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 Thanks guys! She's already started her "conditioning" phase. Hopefully I'll be able to start stocking her in about 3 days.
DrunkenMonkey Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Just gorgeous. What sort of storage are you upgrading from, and what % full will it be with what you have now?
SandmanTR Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 Just gorgeous. What sort of storage are you upgrading from, and what % full will it be with what you have now? (3) 300 count humi's. I should have a good amount of room to keep adding boxes. WooHoo...
Bartolomeo Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Very nice and thanks for sharing Technically, should the top and bottom be very similar in temp and RH? Does Bob suggest cabs on the bottom, top or does it not even matter? Thanks in advance, Bart
SandmanTR Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 Very nice and thanks for sharingTechnically, should the top and bottom be very similar in temp and RH? Does Bob suggest cabs on the bottom, top or does it not even matter? Thanks in advance, Bart According to Bob, just as long as the reservoirs are not blocked from above, the temp and RH should be identical throughout the humi. Having more cabs on the top as opposed to the bottom really shouldn't have an affect one way or another.
CigarmanTim Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 If that doesn't give you a chubby... nothing will
DrunkenMonkey Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 (3) 300 count humi's. I should have a good amount of room to keep adding boxes. WooHoo... Righteous. Here we go Stillers!
thechenman Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Congrats on your new Staebell. It's a thing of beauty. Enjoy filling her up.
