ironpeddler Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Rob, Between the travel there, the events and parties, the occasional cocktails, and then the travel back home....how long before your head clears and you're back to normal semi-normal? Also, are you going to post a list of what you sampled and give us your impressions as a thumbs up - thumbs down rating? How's the cranial wound coming along?....anything leak out before the stitches?
thechenman Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Thanks for sharing the pics Prez...nice apartment. The ladies look great as does Havana. Lovely view. Looks like a really good time. Hell, I'd have my head stiched up to meet Amaya...Take care, hope you are feeling better.
LeafLover Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Amazing! What spirits were consumed that night Prez?
El Presidente Posted March 5, 2010 Author Posted March 5, 2010 Amazing! What spirits were consumed that night Prez? I keep my parties pretty simple, Cold Beer, Chilean Red and White wine, HC Anejo & Santiago 11. The waiters can put together a very good Mojito or Cuba libre. It is always the people who are the highlight, never the booze or cigars
Ryan Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Got back late on Wednesday night after missing the connection. Thought I'd throw up some pictures of my own. I must add my own perspective to the Havana Highlights and Lowlights thread. Many thanks to Prez and the guys for all the good times. I can't say enough. View from the hotel Getting my daily ration at the Conde de Villanueva. Nino and Prez were right, too many plugged custom rolled cigars. It was very humid though in Havana, I'll try giving them some time. Esplendidos at El Laguito Behikes in the Escaparate at Laguito Drawers being filled for the Cohiba humidor for the auction Nino and Jimmy at the welcome evening Spot the Irish guy. Cigar Girls. Shade grown wrapper leaf Boxes of Trinidad Short Robustos at La Corona. Malecon, it got much worse than this. I've a vague recollection of getting through a flood with five of us rammed into a taxi. I have no idea where this was.. Alejandro Castro. Nino at the Melia Habana View from Rob's place, found me pot o' gold. Rob(Fox) hadn't given up on the singing Had a hard time finding this plaque but got it eventually.

Bartolomeo Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Great pics fellas! I always enjoy the factory pics as it shows the simplicity that goes into making cigars, no heavy machinery, no computers, nothing technical but good hard work and love for a product. Something you dont see everyday in the year 2010 Bart
Ryan Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Ryan...that photo was inside the great "Gato Tuerto" The barman pouring the drink is my mate Elvis. Prez, I was joking. I spent more time in that place than anywhere else in Havana You found a good club there. Fantastic bands.
