  1. my inlaws live in FT Pierce not far from Vero believe it or not the Carrabas down there is amazing, and im not a fan of chain italian food. Theres a few places on the beach and that werent bad I want to say it was called Mulligans and right across the street from that place was another restaurant, name escapes me, that wasnt too bad. I havent had a chance to check out any of the cigar places while down there. Inlaws have a private beach for their condos so i just smoke down on the beach.
  2. Berlin, CT right here! I didnt know about this place will have to check it out!
  3. I was on a cruise and we stopped at Grand Cayman, there was a shop at the port but not sure if it was a LCDH but it was small and hoped it was legit haha. I did stop at the LCDH in jamaica's port...nice shop but when i got back and in the past year I realized I over paid for Monte 4's. Mind you at the time I was a complete noob and really didnt know what I was looking for/at...now I have a much better understanding and still a noob
  4. I was smoking my first RASS and was in October of this past year. I was outside by my fire pit and was tearing up some old cardboard boxes and wasnt paying attention and apparently I ripped a box and it came up and hit the cigar and busted it open almost down the middle. Sad part is It was on one side I didnt see and when I went to re light I saw it!, needless to say I smoked through it! haha
  5. congrats man!! welcome to the father club!
  6. Wow look at you Mus!!! congrats on a fine looking cigar...now did you get to smoke it after?
  7. I had a Reyes from around 05-06 that I smoked last year and man it was fantastic. I went out and bought a box that was production from last year and smoked one right away and it wasnt the same at all. I knew going in that it wasnt aged, but figured the flavor would be there. I didnt get disappointed over it, just figured get some age on them and enjoy later on.
  8. The way I see it living here is that our influence is slipping no doubt , along with our dollar. You can go to just about any store and no matter what you're picking up is made over seas primarily China. The way I see our country going is we're becoming dependent on these goods to supply us and in turn we're losing jobs here. I hate to sound like a doomsday prepper but I do believe at some point, especially the way we are going that we will have some sort of major/catastrophic economic collapse.
  9. looks amazing! thanks for the pics to show us!
  10. ive heard citrus, or fruits will cleanse the palate. I was at this fancy dinner one time and they served sherbert ice cream prior to the main course which i thought was odd and the waiter said it was to cleanse the palate for the main plate. The coffee beans ive used to clear out your sense of smell , cologne's/perfumes not sure if it would help with a cigar.
  11. I got one as part of a sample i bought from here and it was amazing, I'm still a year into being new but it was outstanding compared to some others I've had and it was a 2013 RASS. I could have been lucky and got a good one

  18. I agree 100% with this, a year ago i really started getting into cigars and cubans and these pics I probably would have been a victim and bought these but now im here and learning !
  19. Hi madandana, I just got back from a cruise and there was a "cuban" cigar shop at the port near 7 mile that I went to. Mind you I was brand new to cigars so I didnt know really what i was looking at but looked good and prices were normal
  20. must be Cohibas new Camo blend...to go along with the grenade lighter
  21. whats funnier are the hashtags on them under that picture "#bigboyshit" LOL
  22. haha thank you Pigfish! I guess I'll put them back in the basement so that the RH will go back to my norm which I like at 60RH, and figure out something for heating. My basement isn't finished so thats the hard part about heating and I dont have many outlets either down there.
  23. hey all thank you for the great feedback. I actually moved it because I was nervous the temp was too low and I do not know how that would affect the cigars. So my basement held RH , especially in the humis, around 58-62% so far in the winter and the temp was low like 50 or so and I wanted to keep the temp at around 60+ so I put them in my spare bedroom. I have forced warm air (oil) and while I moved them upstairs keeps them at around 60 the RH dropped massively. I guess my question would be if i move them back into the basement, how badly would the temp affect them being so cold? I dont have a way to heat the basement currently as its an unfinished basment. My guess at this too is keeping them warmer and that the air in the spare bedroom is getting the humidity sucked out of the humidor I would imagine the room RH is low and pulling that moisture out
