I’ve never come across a box of these in Ireland, when I joined the forum a couple of months back these have been mentioned many times! Delighted to get my hands on a box!8 points

Before and after dinner in Uzes last night. Monte PE from Feb 16. Beautiful as ever. Fuente & Fuente Opus X Perfecxion X Rare Estate Reserve 1992 robusto from around 2012 A disappointing cigar for such a long name. Fortunately this is my last one and at the price they command I won't be getting any more. Thunder & Lightening '75-'154 points

My good mate John DeCosta of Cigar jewellery fame (www.cigarsanctum.com) were exchanging emails this week when he told me of his recent purchase. - Por Larrañaga cabinet, circa 1900 - 1.93 meters tall x 81 cm wide - originally, contained 10,000 double figurados for export from Havana to England. - completely original condition. - spent more than a century sitting in a country house in Norfolk very very nice3 points

Checked into the Red Chamber Divan on day two in Hong Kong. Very nice lounge. Tried a single of the RG88 which probably cost more than a whole box from the Prez but that's taxes for you. The cigar was decent. Better than expected. A little rough around the edges but construction was good.3 points

I've smoked several boxes of Siglo 2 over last few years. Have had maybe a half dozen or so be kind of flat as you're speaking of. Have also had Siglo 2 which were so powerful they were nearly unsmokeable. In my humble opinion they are the best PC made, but they are probably the most inconsistent of the Marca (besides maybe Esplendidos..). As others have recommended smoke another one soon and if you get the same experience again don't touch them for at least 6 months to a year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Last night I tried my first 80th. I enjoyed it, mild to begin with plenty of floral notes and a nuttiness. The final third was definitely where this cigar showed its potential, decelopment in body and flavor. Not worth the price tag IMHO but will probably try another one down the line. Quai-d-orsay Coronas. Boxcode ULA FEB 15, ETP MAY 16, ETP MAR 16... You can pick any year and date. For me these has been consistently good from 2010 and onwards. Always great construction. The same great taste. Aging perfectly. The perfect size and the perfect blend. All in my humble opinion.2 points

Great idea El Pres! I have had a number of excellent, highly-rated cigars in 2017. The two I chose are below, the TOS Mar 16 Diplomaticos No.2 (cinnamon, nutmeg, almond and toasted tobacco flavours) and OBM Jun 16 Partagas Lusitania (light espresso coffee, sourdough, mild leather flavours). The reason I chose these two, and not others (such as the exemplary Diplomaticos Bushidos and H.Upmann 56 LE, for example) was because they delivered 'from-the-box' time and time again in their flavours and consistent construction (I also had more of them to compare) and I believe ultimately this is what makes a cigar-smoking experience highly satisfying.2 points

This Monte #2 has been sitting for 40+ days. Dry boxed for 4 days at 58% . It's a great smoke. Small draws with plenty of smoke. I am so glad I just bought another box. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk2 points
