How long you had it rest? I tried my first one fresh after a couple of weeks. It showed promise but had a bit of kick to it, which I don’t mind and partly why I branched over to them.

I always drink decaf iced tea while I’m smoking my cigars at night. That seems to help a lot as far as your mouth getting dry.

First one I had was about 3 weeks old, they are now about 3 months old.

Possibly the toothiest stick I've ever seen and so far probably one of the best tasting Padrons I've ever smoked (and have had pretty much everything). Been sitting a couple years. Family Reserve 96 Maduro.
