El Rushbo Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 » Hmmmmmm.....Partagas:love: No price and half a cigar...for shame El Prez! This is like showing us the picture of naked lady from the neck up. Always leave em wanting more... Who doesn't like the idea of a Partagas Salomone? My saliva is about to short cicuit my keyboard.
Punch Joe Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 » Show us a pic of the entire cigar. These are magnificent works of art. Indeed they are. You couldn´t imagine how they taste. Sorry that sounded better in my mind. Man, it will blow you away with loads of flavours. very rich, strong aroma of tobacco (i love to find that in a cigar) decadent, full bodied with hints of sweet and roasted coffee. Liked a lot. fancy shapes are not my number one choice when facing a selection of cigars but this one is an emblematic Paratagás I would not be able to reject ever. Imagine how it would improve within the next 4 years. Can´t wait, it makes my mouth watering all the time. Send a pic of the single in a few days, gimme some time!!!:-P
puros71 Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Those are some nice looking cigars. I want some of those.
Tampa1257 Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 I am hopefull that the Partagas Salomones will taste like the 2000 Partagas Salomones. Those were rich leather and sweet peppery spice which danced with earth, coffee, Szechuan spice, sea salt, oh the flavors kept on coming! I am down to my last from 2000 and as Jose said, with 4-5 years on these bad boys, you will lick your lips waiting for these!
SmokinAl Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 » I got to get me some of them! Ditto. Is there any news on these?
perfectform Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Partagas is in my top two, but I think I will pass on these :-)
shrink Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 » Partagas is in my top two, but I think I will pass on these :-) Gentlemen: these cigars are not for smoking. They are for aesthetic purposes only. Each box is suitable for framing.

I was gifted one of the new ones by the editor of the ECCJ and plan on smoking it at a herf this weekend. I am not positive it will represent the final blend as I was told it was one of the preliminary blends but we'll see. ~M
