well rob, i found one!!! :-D i got my old van sold, paid off my debts to my good friend and bought this beautiful humidor.

the Cepo (5.5 X 49) w/ a PL robusto for size comparisons:

It is a very nice humidor, Bruce. IIRC, I saw one in Cuba last month, I think it was in the LCDH in Pinar del Rio, but then I was in and out of so many casas my memory is jumbled, lol. :-D

it's good to know they're still around if i should want to buy another one down the road.

as for reviewing one: as soon as i let them rest for a good long time i will review one of the Cepo's.

This might be rather nit-picky on my behalf, but those autographs look like they are done in sharpie. Would that affect the flavor of the cigars or the humidor in general?

i can't know for sure, but i doubt it. for what it's worth i have to store the cigars in my singles drawer in my aristocrat. the humidor is now for display.

well there's really no HUGE story behind it other than a couple of years or so ago i decided i wanted to find one of these humidors. i knew it would be hard to find since there were only 135 made, but also because the brand is not widely carried around the world. after asking around alot and telling everyone on the boards that i wanted one i ended up getting a lead on one. lucky for me it wasn't a humidor wanted by everyone so i managed to get it at a great price.

so now i have this and the 25 count belicoso humidor by vegueros. i don't think it will take me long to smoke one of cepos either as i'm not too worried about "cracking" the humidor. i plan on giving 2 to a good friend of mine next week, so at that point i'll most likely smoke one very soon.

This was extremely rare 11 years ago, when it was posted but good luck, man. You can find something like it If you attend auctions go to events etc... @99call has some impressive items from a recent thread (seen below) maybe he can give advice.
