El Presidente Posted June 29, 2007 Share Posted June 29, 2007 Away for a week.....and a little competition for all FOH members :-) I leave Sunday the 1nd July for a week at a beach resort in Bali to attend wedding of a very good friend's daughter. Unfortunately family commitments mean that I have to travel alone . I will be back on the 7th but while I am away I would like to keep the reviews going. Competition Post a detailed review on any cigar from today until my return and go into the draw for a 3 pack of Cohiba Robusto. Every review earns a ticket in the draw. Lisa will draw the winner from a hat upon my return. Two things: 1. Post a new Topic on each review. You need to know as a minimum the year of manufacture (Ken...it helps also to know what cigar you are smoking ;-) ) 2. Post on this thread that you have completed the review as it will make it easier to manage on our behalf. I am off to pack my budgie smugglers See you all when I get back! Tonight I have smoked before a vintage Romeo y julieta excepcionales ( smooth cigar ) and Partagas Super partagas ( i believe this is a cigar for Spanish Market , good taste for the value). But the king this night is the Reyes.I bought a 12 sticks last Christmas, with code STL ABR06. When i bought them i smoked two cigars and i thought this cigars are not the same trinidad ( other vitolas) i'd smoked before. Bored , only pleasant cedar taste, but unidimensional. i put them sleeping in my desk humidor. 6 months later (today) they become complex cigar , a lot cedar taste mixed with vanilla , coffee, chocolate and little citrus drops. Incredible what a change in only 6 months. i have enjoyed it a lot seeing and listening a wonderful dvd of 60's psychedelic group called Love - forever changes (sorry for my English) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
