A Hearty Farewell!

Recommended Posts

I leave for Havana in just over 24 hrs and in case I run out of time I just wanted to say farewell (will be back to man the poker final....don't worry).

We (9 of us FOH locals) will be away for 17 days and our time in Havana as always is a mix of business and pleasure. In between plenty of dancing, Habanos and drinks, We have set days for dinners and meetings with HSA heirachy as well as an open house policy for those same people for late night pop ins to our houses in Nuevo Vedado. These are invariably the finest times of all ;-)

In the "Ask Habanos s.a" a question thread, post your ponderances and I will post the answers upon my return.

Lisa and Smithy will keep the home fires burning with sales and posts etc but I encourage all of you to post reviews / topics and keep this great foum flying. If chance permits I will post from Havana but net connections are patchy at best.

I will pass on your best wishes to our friends in Cuba and especially to Hamlet and Jose Candia who are regular readers of this forum and who take great pride in finshing every e-mail they send me with forum our impromata of "No Tossers...No Wankers" :lol2:

Hasta luego amigos ..I will post plenty of stories and photo's upon my return :-)

Rob Ayala

PS...remember Lisa's birthday on the 20th of Feb ;-)

nine? there are nine of us? who else is coming?

just love being organised!

currently the advance party (that would be me) is in sydney awaiting the joy of thirteen and a half hours to LA but i hjave an exit row so all is good with the world. think i might sleep the entire way. finished all the articles (bar one but i gave myself an extension) and packing at 3.15am last night. as the alarm (s) were set for 3.25 am, to catch the transfer up to brizzy, it didn't seem worth going to sleep.

see you all in a few weeks.

nine? who else?

charming.

just the sort of attitude you want to shove down the throat of the bloke who is giving up the best part of a day to arrange transport for you (and four others or has that changed too?) from the airport to the digs. good luck with those lada cabs and all your gear!

there are names on that list that have never been mentioned.
