The crisp edges certainly tell a story of not having been polished. Some of the surfaces had a textured finish that, after 50 years, certainly looks dulled...

Some of the brushing could use a touch up would be plenty. Orange rubber strap would look neat on your watch. Omega has some used across different lines.

I have a few 20mm straps waiting on the right watch. Might even be an orange strap in there - but definitely not an Omega strap. I’ll take a peek after I have worn the OEM strap for a while.

Both fit fine on you. Patek’s rose gold is a great hue. That’s my favorite of the two. If this would be a daily wear, the steel makes the most sense — steel, large, sporty.

I picked up this 1948 Omega Centenary recently. One of 4000 made for their 100 year anniversary, hence the name…
