Popular Post Fuzz AI Posted December 21 Popular Post Posted December 21 Picked up the steel version of the Seagull Icon II for my old man. Now to sneak it into his watch box sometime in the near future as a surprise. Might also get him a deployant clasp to go with it. 6
Popular Post SigmundChurchill Posted Saturday at 04:30 PM Popular Post Posted Saturday at 04:30 PM When in Geneva... Here's one you don't see every day. I always wondered what the chime sounds like. And, of course, the extra complications on the back of the watch... This was pretty cool to see, but it needed an appointment. 6
Popular Post Chibearsv Posted Saturday at 05:47 PM Popular Post Posted Saturday at 05:47 PM @SigmundChurchill Your trip looks like a blast. My wife and her cousin just got back from a trip to Switzerland and loved it. She loved Lucerne until she loved Grindlewald, until she loved Zurich. Now she’s trying to figure out how to move there 🤣 I’m not much of a watch guy, but she did bring back a nice Christmas present for me. I once had a Rolex Datejust two tone that I never liked. Too bulky. This is definitely more my style. Light and casual. 6

Geneva is the closest airport to much of the Alps, so we always seem to end up here for a day or two at the end of the trip. 1

Did the Rolex or Patek boutiques have their line ups available for sale? 1
Popular Post David8406 Posted 20 hours ago Popular Post Posted 20 hours ago I’ve been ogling this for a few weeks now. Finally went and picked it up just the other day. Longines HydroConquest GMT in 41mm. 5

You needed an appointment to get in, but I don't know of any Patek dealer that will sell you a watch on the spot, as an unknown walk-in. Rolex was the same. Lots of watches to look at, but none for sale. 1

I haven't heard that so I didn't bother asking if I could actually buy anything. That's like so 2010. 1
