Picked up the steel version of the Seagull Icon II for my old man. Now to sneak it into his watch box sometime in the near future as a surprise. Might also get him a deployant clasp to go with it.

Here's one you don't see every day. I always wondered what the chime sounds like.  

And, of course, the extra complications on the back of the watch...

@SigmundChurchill Your trip looks like a blast. My wife and her cousin just got back from a trip to Switzerland and loved it. She loved Lucerne until she loved Grindlewald, until she loved Zurich. Now she’s trying to figure out how to move there 🤣

I’m not much of a watch guy, but she did bring back a nice Christmas present for me. I once had a Rolex Datejust two tone that I never liked. Too bulky. This is definitely more my style. Light and casual.

We really just go to Switzerland to ski. Geneva is the closest airport to much of the Alps, so we always seem to end up here for a day or two at the end of the trip.

If you go to Bern canton, the Swatch HQ looks really cool.

Not sure about Patek. You needed an appointment to get in, but I don't know of any Patek dealer that will sell you a watch on the spot, as an unknown walk-in.

Rolex was the same. Lots of watches to look at, but none for sale.

I thought with the Bucherer acquisition, the Geneva boutique was supposed to be actually selling watches.
