The weekend kicked off well with a full cigar deck yesterday afternoon. The lads rocked on and were in fine fettle. :cigar:

Busy one this weekend.  Walk and Gym now.  Later, deck legend Dave is having a midday birthday bash for his gorgeous wife Vicki. Two superb people and it will be a riotous afternoon.

HOWEVER.....I am on my best behaviour today as at 5PM I need to pick up my father and mother. It's dad's 93rd birthday the 16th and so the family (20 of us) are taking him out tonight to his favourite Chinese restaurant. Dad is in magnificent health/fully loaded mentally and physically.

Get home tonight and out to the cigar room to watch the Wallabies V France replay in the Rugby Union test match. I have a new Maduro Belicoso blend to try and it is a good opportunity.

Sunday, is another walk and gym session followed by prep for a Deep Dive interview with John DeCosta of Cigar Sanctum fame. John is a great mate of mine who makes the finest cigar related jewelry in the world and has opened cigar lounge and Tapas bar "Bar Sanctum" in Sayulita Mexico. John is one of the most interesting people in the cigar world and I look forward to sharing the piece with you next week.

Sunday afternoon will be a relaxing one. I am in the mood to cook something that we haven't had in a while. Rolled/Stuffed pork loin?  Something to place in the oven for a couple of hours while I read the weekend newspapers and enjoy a cigar. :cigar:  Busy weekend indeed.

What's up for the weekend?

Are you going to wear your Cigar Sanctum T-Shirt ? 😄 Can't wait for that deep dive, he is one cool dude who loves Cuba and his Cuban cigars.

Hoping to wake up in time to catch Wallabies v Frogs. Is the Maduro B for the BR, N or MF line out of curiosity?

Is JDC the maker of the Partagas rings I saw you and WestG sporting?

JDC is indeed the maker of that Partagas ring. I will hit him up for a FOH discount.

We were at a roof top bar in Cuba when I bought mine off him. He does some wicked cufflinks as well and some other amazing pieces of jewellery. Check it out folks.

Working. Night shift. Some early openers today (I'm half cut at 0900 hours I absolutely love breakfast brews) with the crew this morning and tomorrow we finish up and then a lunch in Healesville with family and friends followed by an RyJ Churchills and Irish whiskey tasting at a mates place (I'm supplying both cigars and whiskey). Should be fun. Back to work Monday morning in a fly blown, liver ridden, smoked out, shape.

Sounds perfect 😎🌴

Getting the house ready to list on Monday. My studio has never been this clean, and it’s almost unsettling. The drums sure look great in a cleaned-up space, though!

Going to miss this yard, too. Great space to stare at while I enjoy a smoke.

Onward and upward!
